Which spell(s) do you want to become castable?
Well, currently, if you barstonra and barpetra you actually resist a lot of Tunga's breakgas and slowgas. I am also able to resist almost all paralyzes from Discharge on Salvage bosses if I barblizzara/barparalyzra. They do have an affect, but it's just that it only becomes noticeable on low/mid level enemies.
Float, reflect, demi, bravery, confuse, pain and a real berzerker where u lose control and attack like a mad man
I know I already posted about Prothscar's BLU in a different topic but it's spot on. Any worries that the UL learning spells are overpowered for a 5 minute recast are for the most part negated when you can only choose one out of so many.
At first glance, some might say, "Well, I'll just use Mighty Guard every time." but then, after reading the others, "Whoa, Stoneskin and Blaze Spikes; breath spell with HP*2 and minimal resists; dispel, damage and emnity reduction; attribute reductions and an absorb...maybe I won't just use one every time..." It's actually a pretty cool idea the SE thought up. It fits BLU well. It just needs a large boost. You really should post this on the OF, Prothscar. The dev's will have a SLIGHTLY higher chance of seeing it. Well, in past Final Fantasies, Confuse wore off after the target was hit. Also, casting confuse on an enemy would technically be a hostile action. If you were to start a fight just by casting confuse, the target would go up to its nearest buddy and smack'em. Then the buddy would smack back, then both would come after you. But let's go ahead and take a situation where you're already fighting two enemies. You cast confuse on one, and it starts attacking the other. As long as you have hate, Confuse would last its full duration (unless an AoE TP move was used.) But players would be able to select your Confused target as an attack target still. Someone could easily just smack it and run off. And then you'd recast, and the process repeats itself. OR If we treat Confuse as a "charm" effect, then the target would turn into a sort of "pet" that just attacks the nearest enemy automatically. But would end once the confused target was hit, unlike where Charm would stay in effect. I'm seeing confuse to be more of a hindrance than an aid. :/ Ya still be funny as hell to see, good points
There we go, give rdm frog and confuse, make em stick, fixed.

Deprotect - Lowers Enemy's Defense. Spell overwrites Protect, but is overwritten by Protect. If spell lands without a protect effect on target, lowers defense by ((Enfeebling Skill (500)/20) (-20 def). If Protect is in effect when spell lands, the defense down effect is increased by the value of the Protect spell removed. Protect/Protectra dispelled: 20+15 (-35 DEF) Protect II/Protectra II dispelled: 20+40 (-60DEF) Protect III/Protectra III dispelled: 20+75 (-95 DEF) Protect IV/Protectra IV dispelled: 20+120 (-140 DEF) Protect V/Protectra V dispelled: 20+175~200 (-195~220 DEF)* *I do not believe monster's protectra V is as strong as a WHM's Protectra V 5/5. However, if a monster would have access to Deprotect and it hits a target with Protectra V 5/5 on them, the def down would go based on that. Deshell : Same thing but for shell! And stuff. >_> |
