"Contest" Threads

Hello,

I know we have let some threads come through for facebook contests etc. but I believe this is not the place for contest threads that you have people click any links.

To avoid any compromise to anyone's account or computer, we will not have contest threads that require clicking a link here.

Please do not post any threads for contests that people need to click a link to vote.

Just curious (its late and I cant think) but what kinda ones would be allowed then? Since you'd have to click a link to anything that isnt hosted here on FFXIAH?

Or is that the entire point I'm missing....

Contests here are fine if it doesnt require you to click a link.

even i would get paranoid to click a link from someone who doesnt use their main character to post and especially the links that look just odd to me.

I find that when something looks risky or when someone says "this site's infected!" I tend to click it anyway just to try my pc's defenses.
