I pretty much knew I was done for as soon as I saw Urteil was /RDM. All my planning/preparation was aimed at DRK/SCH, likely opening with Manifestation Sleep.

Works like normal but you cant gear swap in ballista without being stalled for a good 10-15 seconds or so. You wont want the hp drain from frenzy on the whole match obviously.

Aha... 45 second sleep and it would be such a penalty to swap to something that could get a lot of TP at the cost of 10 seconds of penalty? What else were you gonna do during that 10 seconds? Sleep? But yes, it works like normal.

As to the Frenzy Sallet... it's kinda funny you should bring that up. There is another piece that does something similar too, but to answer your question is yes, it would wake you up. Keep in mind though, this is only when the weapon is drawn. So if used right, it can be very good.

Ah, quite right, Berserker's Torque will do the same thing for 50hp/tic. And yeah, I guess if you're fighting an opponent who is in the red and sleeps you (and is in close enough range), it's worth the gamble to throw on the torque and make the final surprise push with your weapon (assuming the delay doesn't stall your weapon?). Very circumstantial, though.

Without suggesting that I would have won anything had it not been the case, my situation was very similar. Him being able to enfeeble the everyliving hell out of me was not something I was prepared for.
