I do not understand why a lot of people want this game made easier,I my self would love the game to be hard like it used to be,back to the days when it took 6 hours to get something done.It did not just make u feel like u had done a good job getting it done,it also weeded out the people that did not know what they were doing.It also made people come up with plans to kill things like take this for example.

I back in the day took like 3 hours-5 hours out of my day back when the 3 promy were hard.I took that time out of my day/life to draw up a plan and right out a job list that would work with that plan.I would love for this to be the case with 8 out of 10 of all the fights in the game.Well maybe not that hard but hard so people can have fun with fighting it.

I just last week found a video on youtube of a Pld soloing Divine Might,That made me so sad seeing that.

So i ask the people here what would u like an easier game or a hard game that u need to work more as a team to get done.


I am not talking about any 1 user in this topic this is just what i see and how i feel about a lot of the topics i read now a days.This is also how i feel about the game.

I think that is wrong i think at one point it had a a level of difficulty with some things. Like to begin with bring back to cap to cop and missions like that keep the fact that people over the cap can cap down to that level and use there gear that is fine.

I walked a group of people through COP, without ever being in one of their fights. Then, I took a group of people through COP and spent over 15 hours trying to do Mammet fight.

As people have said a hundred times in the past, time taken isn't equal to difficulty.

Besides, with a declining playerbase, you wouldn't be able to do a lot of the content sooner or later, so the only way to make it possible to do is to either decrease the difficulty (so more people can do it) or change how gear was obtained (such as a "currency"/token system - such as Einherjar Ichor).

Why would you want to re-cap something that everyone should already have done? If you've done it, you don't need to redo it. If you've not done it, removing the caps gives you the chance to do it without having to try and get other people (who really don't want to go through all of COP again) to do it.

Well i just think it was more fun when it was hard in my way of calling it hard.But i just feel like every thing can be killed with a 99 of any class now and i find that sad.So u see why i say that we need an added level of difficulty to the things that are in the game now and that come later.

I really don't see why you'd say that.

I'd love to see what "everything" is, because a lot of old content (stuff that was supposed to be challenging at 75), damn well better be solo/duo'able at 99.

I've not done Voidwatch, I never had an interest in it when it first came out, but I'm sure that you aren't going to be able to solo/duo the higher tier NM's for that.

Your arguement seems purely based around 75/Abyssea content. Neither of which should be hard 10+ levels over their release stages (I believe Heroes Abyssea was released at the same time as 90 cap? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).

Again, the only thing that made things hard, is people being unable to follow pretty simple instruction. The only other challenge was basically surviving "instant death" moves, whether it's a high damage AoE or something that actually did inflict "Death" - which from what I understand, is pretty much what's in-game now for the 99 content.

I mean why don't you go ahead and link your char and show off all the masses of Einv2, Legion, and NNI gear you've gotten from roflstomping through this too-easy game.

Nothing is hard, finding people that can follow directions is.

Gear needs to be past a functional level but you can get by with a lot less than most people realize. Nothing makes up for preparation, and being familiar with a fight.



OP,
Make your profile visible with missions/gear/levels etc. Perhaps people might take you more seriously.

Being Honest, SE made a good job increasing level cap to 99, our real events for level 99 was VW Chapter IV/Final, Nyzul Isle 2.0, legion, Limbus 2.0 and Odin 2.0, so if all level 90 or less events was hard, what about the events incoming for level 99.

We'll see the real level 99 events designed for Seekers of Adoulin.

We're so much worried about not getting credit for having our awesomeness armors/weapons cause everyone else can have a fake copy of it. (You can't really compare an Ukon 90 to an Ukon 99.)

and having a big time to spend into a game isn't a achievement, 6 hours of events really? seriously? if SE make all events time sink and more time consuming you'll lose your beloved game for lack of costumers.

ADL isn't really a good example because of his ***-you moves, which is an issue with large portions of recent content. Rani is a better example, but has always been lowmannable. The only reason people didn't bother is the progressive -DT, which prolonged the fight significantly and demanded that you deaggro it at least once back at 90 cap.

Omg, noobs can get byakko's haidate SOLO?!

The basic mechanics of the game are simple enough that a group of the right jobs and people that pay attention will always be 'easy' for pretty much anything. That said, legion and neo-nyzul require much more attention and a much more specific job setup than anything did at 75. Going to have to side with analgesia here, must not be doing 99 content.

Though new limbus is *** HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE.
