AFAIK, Kikoku is a pretty solid katana, particularly when Kannagi's aftermath can't be kept up 100% of the time.
Ninja's output is still marginal at best, though, so unless you're a diehard ninja for whatever reason, I'd put the money towards a more worthwhile investment.
