There's this off the path place in the Sanctuary of Zi'Tah, on the way to Ro'Maeve, that has a little waterfall. I always thought Zi'Tah was an amazingly beautiful zone, and I love the music there. I logged out next to that little waterfall when I "quit" about a year ago. Now that I'm back, not quite sure if I'm gonna go back there if I leave again.

This is where I quit many times.

Heavens Tower at the very bottom in the pool of water. Always loved the music when i first started playing id sit there turn up the vol and go to sleep lol.

I have quit (and returned) before. I never think about the place I'm logging out in, but I do think about the gear. As some silent homage to the friends I've had. I always log out in Ochimusha Kote and Byakko's Haidate.

Now, I'd probably logout @ Mee Deggi since you've got me thinking about it.

When I started the game, I made friends with this Paladin 75 (omg, a 75! right! -that was my reaction since he was the only 75 who visted the LS I was in). His name was Lamal.

He tells me that I need O.kotes. So we go and get them. I'm like mnk45. He's helped me get juji gi already that's how I remembered.

We stayed in this zone for two solid days and went something like 2/8/12 on drops/claims/pops.

I remember being a mnk/war and voking him and getting links and my friend flashing him off me and trying to keep me alive.

Great times.

When I leveled paladin, that same friend and I went to get our parade gorgets. My parade gorget and okotes are still on my mule. If rare/ex wasn't mulable, they'd be in storage til the day SE wipes the servers.

Haidate because more of my best memories in that game are at that cat.

Byakko was the first god I tanked (lion's den right, or rather tiger's den) pld/nin and we had the sata line setup, but the nin co-tank popped him without shadows and deserved to die lol.

So I ended up solo tanking him all the way down until the other tank became unweak, and my friend (the same paladin) sends me a tell says "Dude, you're the best damn tank I've ever seen". Now, I know now exactly where Byakko ranked in the scheme of things, but that meant A TON.

I also have tons of memories with my friends Headache, Xial, and Kaidaa, but none of those can be summed up in single pieces of gear.

When I first heard about Rapture, and assumed, like many others, that it would replace XI, I hoped they'd have some kind of system where you could have statues of your 75 jobs in your mog house in that game. Even if it was just your character model in the AF for that job. I had 6 75s and I imagined them like a trophy room.

Having played "Rapture" recently...just lol.

on a chocobo in pashhow marshlands i love the chocobo music, and i always used to find myself there. that or by the op in valkurm dunes, i always felt safe by there.

I thought about it a bit more, and I thought I might also decide to log off standing right beside Maat.

I won't lie, it took me about 5 tries to beat Maat, all on THF. The day I beat him was amazing, I was streaming the fight to our linkshell so they could watch, but everything went wrong right from the start. First, I forgot the opo necklace when I slept, so by the end I only had 98% tp for the start of the fight. Then, I used the tp wing by accident, for 198%. Next, I forgot to use the Blink Band AND the Phalanx Sheild, and then when I hit him I forgot Sneak Attack! I thought I was a goner for sure, and it was the last fight I could afford with all the wings and pots.

But, amazingly, I managed to dodge most of his attacks, I used PD right before he weapon skilled, and I came out on top, with linkshell cheering and heart racing.

It was a small victory compared to most, but I'll never forget it, and standing on front of Maat would remind me of that day.linkshell

I think I posted this once before but when I quit/took a break for awhile, I went to Selbina, /sat on the dock looking out over the water and then force dc'd myself.

Back at 75 cap, I always thought it would be funny to get to Cape Terrgian as a level 1 job, set HP there and sell my account just to have the buyer have fun trying to get out of there.

If I ever re-activate and sell everything off, final logout will prolly be in Sea.

As a citizen of San D'Oria, why not King Ranperre's Tomb? After all, I am guessing if I never came back, that my character must have died. There, or the central garden in the Chateaux seems pretty fitting!

Pretty sure my character was in fishing gear in Beau fishing up Haks the last time he logged out a quite a few months agoi. Pretty sad honestly lol.

I logged out in fishing gear too. I just never logged back in.

I recently "quit" and came back again after about 6 months. I could have sworn I logged out in my moghouse with all my gear on. But when I logged back in I was naked in the alley behind the auction house in Bastok Mines....

either buried next to balrahns tomb with my gastraphetes or make some catacombs in the whitegate imperial palace with my gastraphetes :D
