I figure you can get a Kclub for 25M on my server, which leaves you with 75M leftover. 10M will get you Defending Ring and Ridill easy, and the rest is much cheaper. Then end it with 25M more than you started.
Kraken Clubs are a steal at 35M. 40M is more like it.
Our LS sells Ridills if no one in LS needs...for 40M. Don't know of any other LSes who sell on Siren atm.
Defending Ring would not sell for 300M.

Money isn't gonna do much to help any of those sets, the BLM one would be expensive (especially if you buy the novio), but for the most part it's all r/e stuff that you'd have to actually work for, rather than buy.

If I won, I'd first off fall over in a dead faint from shock. Then I would try to get a haub for my war and sam when I get them both to 59, Horomusha kotes for my nin and sam, blau doch for my thf, hagun for my sam, and look at what axes are best for my war when it gets higher. Since my war is still only a baby, I haven't checked what axes are best yet though. Maneater and juggernaut, maybe? The great axe will most likely be the one I can buy with Imperial Standing, whatever it's called. It looks nice.
Or else I would start my relic bow and get my woodworking to 100 and all my other crafts to 60. Except fishing and cooking, I don't care so much about those two, they can stay nubbed.

If my mule wins Rank 1, then I'll have some fun with the money. I'll do a server wide "Who wants to be a Millionaire?" or something like that, but with the most obscure FF things, not something you can easily google. >=D
I'd get a Futsuno, play around with it for a few days, then sell it for most likely more than the Rank 1 Gil prize will be. :p
Pay for the carp required for Lu Shangs, pay for the fish for Ebisu, get a Hagun and other materials...
No Idea why people are convinced first place prize will be 100m, with the way they are doing it this year, I'm leaning towards D ring
Well hopefully IF we win (<_<) there'll be some way of knowing how much gil we'd get before chosing something else. Anyway, as Maniic suggested, AV's GK would probably sell for more than 100mil anyway.
