He could have Kanzen Saimin'd everyone into thinking he was defeated/captured. he lost his Zanpakuto after he was hit by Mugetsu, so there is no way he could have pulled it off. Ichigo also never saw Aizen's zanpakuto before so the hypnosis wouldn't affect him anyway.

well he is really behind everything that has happened in the series so of course he will...then he will turn on the Gotei 13 setting up the final showdown of him and ichigo.

Also Aizen lost his Zanpakuto when he changed forms and the hogyoku decided he no longer needed it, not when he was hit by mugetsu; that doesn't mean its gone for good however. Ichigo got his Zanpakuto back even after he lost his powers and several other characters who 'lost' their zanpakuto had them recovered(even people in the filler arc whose swords were destroyed instead of resealed, filler wasn't canon but still) Don Kanonji is such an obvious Mr. Satan/Hercule rip off. Sometimes I question Tite Kubo's obvious plagiarism. I mean the ENTIRE Fullbringer Xcution story arc was almost 95% mirror copy of the Chapter Black saga of Yu Yu Hakusho. Almost the exact same premise and story plot and there were obvious correlates of the characters. Ex Shinigami fighting current Shinigami vs Ex Spirit Detective fighting current Spirit Detective. Now that I think about it a lot of concepts from Bleach seems based on Yu Yu Hakusho. Tite Kubo must have been heavily influenced by Dragon Ball Z and Yu Yu Hakusho growing up. Even at Aizen's final transformation he still had his Zanpakuto, but it was after he was hit with Mugetsu when his Zanpakuto was crumbling away, thinking that the Hogyoku claims he no longer needed it. As far as Zapakutos being recovered, remember Captin Kurotsuchi can repair damaged Zapakutos, he even broken his Zapakuto a couple times because his Zapakuto turned on him. Can they repair Aizen's Zapakuto, they can, but I think it gone for good since it fused with his hand/arm it complete broke down and vanished. For Ichigo getting his Zanpauto back, he never really lost his Zanpakuto, he lost his spiritual powers and the if you remember back at the 1st arch, Rukia mentioned that the size of a Zanpato is determined by the spiritual pressure. No spiritual press = no Zanpakuto, which is why when he got his powers back he got back Zangetzu. Even if it crumbles away I doubt that means Aizen lost his shinigami powers.

i was liking how things went, but we're back to a lot of nothing happening. most of this could of been condensed and some story developed. here's to bleach's 20th anniversary when this final arc will be done.
