I'm wondering if As Nodt was implying they could steal multiple Bankai each, or just berating their partner for not doing so himself.
It seems everything will be down to Kenpachi, Yamamoto, the Vizard Captains and possibly Unohana. Well, and Ichigo whenever he manages to escape/gets released.

I have the sneaking suspicion that Aizen is somehow going to get involved - whether it's Soul Society releasing him to fight out of desperation, or him somehow breaking out during the chaos.
...or maybe the whole invasion is being orchestrated by Aizen! You can never count that sly *** out.
I can't wait to see Unohana fight - she's supposedly the strongest captain after Yamamoto. I wouldn't count Harribel out either. And Grimmjow. Come to think of it, I wouldn't be surprised if the person who pointed his sword at Urahara is Grimmjow (i know that Arrancar aren't supposed to go back to their normal forms after they've released but gogo retcon!).

His Bankai is probably gonna do something useless like sprout pinwheels and rainbows. That's the only reason Yamamoto kept him around for so long - old people loooove pinwheels! Poor Sasabike never did anything important in life, he might as well troll the bad guys now that he's dead.
Also, was Yamamoto's arm still missing? That's kinda messed up how Soi Fon's was restored but his is still gone. That's like, half of his pinwheel holding enjoyment skills gone for good right there.

I'm really happy with this arc so far though, I can't remember the last time I've enjoyed Bleach this much since... like the first Soul Society arc.

As to be expected, Yamamoto owned the Stern Ritter guy.
Sasabike's bankai was actually pretty cool. Too bad we never got to see it used properly.
Also seems stolen Bankai's aren't as powerful when not used by the original owner. Still more powerful than most people in shikai though. :<
