FFXI already went full retard, I don't think any amount of new zones can salvage the gameplay damage that was done.

9 new zones we only got like 3 in wotg + some bc zones so this looks promising, mithra homeland / western continent here we come!

Considering the stuff they have released since Abyssea, just feels like there are a lot more problems that simply slapping together an expansion with new zones won't fix.

Besides that, looks all Norse based designs. Gigas homeland maybe? Near East? Mithraz? Deffinitely peaked my interest. But soon the ole "reskin" people will come in and ruin it
I don't really care what they call it. New zones is new zones, but I don't see how it wouldn't be called a full expansion. These zones total more than the original zones that were release with WoTG.
Could be zones like Dynamis,limbus, salvage Abyssea etc. Zones you can't freely be in at all times.

I'm betting they're sneaking all this in, little by little so when the real "expansion" comes out it's a fairly large sized patch that unlocks it.

If they don't *** this up I'll be pleased, but I doubt it'll really revive the game all that much. I expect all of the fights to be shitty zergfests.
