I wonder if we'll be seeing a lot more of those with the expansion. If this is true, then RDM will still be useful. lol I think it is. Juding by how much they focused on GEO's superior -ra-like spells and, afaik, Rune Fencer's unique way of tanking it sounds like they may both be very situational. The new PVP supposedly will have rewards too. inb4 goblin box-esque rewards. I actually got my second ebody because of that goblin, but I just got way lucky.

Can't wait to hear the Reps talk about Rune Fencer, maybe we'll get some better details. Phoenix.Baelorn said: » I think it is. The whole concept of Adoulin seems to hinge on various terrains from caves, to plateaus to jungles and beaches. It's very likely the elements will come into play in this new expansion area. Both jobs on the surface level seem like they could be useful - especially the buffing elements of GEO but like all things SE the devil is in the details. Looks like a recording of yesterday.

How long until they do the English digest? I gotta go do chores, but they can wait if it's soon.
Nevermind. Didn't realize it was the same song list.

I'm optimistic for most of the stuff announced; at the very least it all sounds interesting.
I was expecting gameplay, ToAU and WoTG had some job demonstrations - here we just got a powerpoint presentation outlining the concepts of the job. The roadmap shows the play as a monster system as a september release, yet we didn't even seen in game screenshots. Alexander.Almostunsane said: » How long until they do the English digest? The size of Adoulin is huge, I can picture it being like the middlelands and having a huge variety of climates for different elements. Might even make magian trials easier if each 'zone'/'sector' gets weather super frequently.

IE: a 15-30 minute boat ride from >INSERT RANDOM CITY< I would hope you can just teleport there.
"Random city"? no. In the synopsis of the expansion it says that that city has good ties to Sandy? Nobody saw this as the obvious route?

Probably from San'Doria since it's the westernmost city in the middlelands. Also -- airship probably.

Sandy only has an airship port, so I assume it either an airship or from another city as Sandy is land locked on all sides. The lake the airships land in was man made. Don't know if anyone said it but they updated the official site.

It had better be a ship ride at first. A simple teleport will be stupidly anti-climactic. It eventually should change to teleportation once you've done a quest, but at first I want to feel like I'm travelling a large distance.

Well in 2013 you would hope that SE wouldn't care about what they have done in the past and try to make it as less of a hassle as possible to enjoy the new content.
