well almost like an intelligent gwyn except for the small fact of PARRY! and repose lol

and oddly enough... ive actually had a rough time with artorias every play thru lol almost done with new game + x6 (just gotta kill gwyn agian) and then ill be on + x7 but when i try and solo arty hell bum rush me every damn time... about the only time he doesnt try and jump on me or get in my face is when he buffs himself so rly ive never rly had many openings with him and my fights usually took a good 15-20min because of that unless i had a friend join my game 2 camp pvps in the forest area and just got bored and killed him but other then that he seems 2 be very aggressive with me

ya ik but there some atks that just are a pain in the *** and make u bk up for a sec like his spin atk (where he just spins in a circle a dbl hit atk sometimes 3 if ur standing in the right spot) and other times when i start 2 bk up he instantly does his high jump or his smaller jumps 2 close the gap although when he does his high jump usually gets 2-3 hits of free dmg like his buff which are usually the only times i get a whole lot of dmg on him

im not saying hes hard lol but sometimes he can just be annoying cause for me he just rushes and rushes x.x i can usually predict what hes going 2 do its just trying 2 keep from getting hit by combos and jumps that screws the fight up for me lol

Kalameet is a ***... I cannot manage to trigger him to slam his tail down more than a few times in a 45 min fight @.@

I can get him to do the swoop occasionally, though I'm not 100% sure exactly what positioning triggers that action since most of the time he just likes to do that sweeping breath instead.

But once he swoops, most of the time he just turns around instantly.

Yeah... Kalameet is a ***. I did it with a friend and we totally ran out of healing by mid way. It was us being super defensive for like 15 minutes until we got his tail. Then we did it on his file, which was a lot easier since we were better prepared.

ya kalameet is like that... best way 2 trigger his atks where he lowers his tail is best 2 stand out of his melee range and shoot him with a bow while u have a friend w8ing near by behind him or u can get up in his face and try 2 make him use his mind grab atk and roll out of the way while agian having a friend stand close behind him or u could stand behind him while a friend aggros just far enough out of his melee range agian and he'll slam his tail down when he aggros u (those are the 3 best ways ik of)

his flying breath atks are best evaded by rolling bk 3x it takes u just out of his breath range if ur trying it solo then u gotta be godly fast or u wont be able 2 cut off his tail in time or even be able 2 reach it so if ur farming for his tail its best 2 bring a friend or 2 along

Artorias' aggression is his biggest strength but also his biggest weakness. You can actually roll into (instead of away from) the majority of his attacks and punish him before he has a chance to react.

I just went to bed after I got done ranting. Well if you can call being kept up all night by babies "Going to bed" but this morning I hopped on and took his tail 1/1 solo. Granted, it's really 1/30ish but still... Being a mage makes it difficult but after 30 tries, I could basically live forever as I knew all his attacks and where to stand, what to do to avoid them. But one thing I noticed that helped with baiting him in to doing his dive + tail attack was when he's a decent distance away but you're roughly in front of him, you need to step in the right spot before his "attack Delay" is up. If you aren't in the right spot, he'll breath or lunge, but if you run around in circles you can usually hit the spot that triggers him and he'll dive at you.

Once you get that, just side strafe with your shield up to the left to dodge the dive and circle around a bit more so you're behind, but slightly to the left of his tail, then he'll almost always try to smash you with it rather than swipe or turn. Once you see his tail rise up, you can move back to the right so the slam misses on your left side, unlock, 2h your weapon and get 2 hits in with a slower greatsword. I was using the moonlight greatsword. Occasionally you can get 3 if you were very fast in engaging and beginning your swings but if you try to go to fast you can get caught by the attack. Also, make sure there's plenty of space behind you for him to go, if he runs in to a wall, you'll be too close and he won't tail attack and might even end up stomping on your face.

After I got his tail, it was cake to kill him but for soul arrow spells, you have to be careful when you shoot, cause if he's up on his hind legs for any reason, the arrow will appear to hit his face but actually go over him with no damage.

and i have a question i probably know the answer already but are u able 2 dbl up on conv spells (as in getting them once every play thru... cause idk if doing something wrong if ur able 2 get them agian but i cant seem 2 get a 2nd lightning bolt or greatsword gravelord dance)

The covenant ones you can only get one of I think... or at least there are some spells where you can only have one.

awww lol and ik that u can get npc spells and quested spells more then once cause i have several spells from the girl in the swamp have like 4 atm and the same with crystal dragons breath i have 3 of those atm 2 so u can have as many npc'd or quested spell/miricales/pyro spells as u want... but i just didnt know if u could have several covn spells cinda sucks u cant imo lol thanks for the insight on that tho ^.^

I'm fairly certain Darkmoon Blade is the only one you can't get by leaving and rejoining then re-ranking up in the covenant.

EDIT: Gravelord Servant Covenant is glitched, but it's a very randomly working glitch that doesn't always pout out.

truthfully i wish u could get multiple of those spells... but then agian some of them are pretty powerful when geared right... so i guess its a good thing but its an annoying good thing lol...

any tips on killing Lautrec? <.< if not for the mage I think I'd be having an easier time but I cant separate them enough to pick one off without getting murdered in the process

I fought them on the stairs and just over-powered/angled them with my shield and spear, but I was a heavy melee. You can always poison one or two of them and let that wear them down.

If you shoot him from a distance with an arrow he will run at you ahead of the other two and give you a bit of time with just him. You might need to angle the bow to get the arrow to go far enough though.

also another way 2 kill lautrec is just free him and then go 2 firelink after u kill the gargoyals and just continously kick him bkwards untill he falls off the edge.

it doesnt aggro him (not for me anyways) and u kill him without him killing the fire keeper and/or taking dmg. plus if u want this stuff then just quit and reload right after and his stuff will be right where he was sitting.

I killed him with poison arrows, also am i doing it right?
