Up until that faceless demon thing I was having little to no problems in there at that level. Sure skeletons hurt when they hit me, but it wasn't too hard to parry them or just block their attacks.

Afterwards I made the mistake of opening the portculis underneath him and making him fly away. At least I got the drake sword from him (haven't found a better one yet(that I can use)).
That was a titanite demon and even at level 1 they're doable easy if you focus on their weakness. You will see more of them later and I made a little 30 second video on how to attack their weakness

As for the drake if you walk across the bridge he flies back and tries to one shot you again so don't worry, can kill him anytime you want to

I'm about to have to fight the one on the way to Darkroot Garden (I think? The one next to blacksmith andrei.) Well, I don't have to fight him, but I'm going to.

The drake, once you open the portculis underneath where he sits, he flies away from the bridge and doesn't come back.

At least he still isn't back on my game, and I just finished ringing the second bell. Quelaag was super easy too, was expecting more of a challenge from the boss of the most annoying place so far. (Poison wasn't even an issue, it was falling/getting lost.)

Oh, and anyone know of a good sword with decent strength scaling? (Preferably at least that of B. (Can start out C and become B later if needed.))

If there aren't any, then what would a decent weapon be for a Knight that doesn't want to be left open after a swing? (Been upgrading the Balder Side Sword currently, though I need more dex to make it better than my drake.)

He will only fly back if you physically walk across the bridge again but run fast so he doesn't one shot you

Ahh, okay. I hadn't ran across, only checked it from afar.

Currently, my last bonfire I rested at is the one over by Quelaag's sister. Just made it back to Firelink Shrine and about to try and work on resurrecting Anastacia.

It's a great avatar, Kali!

And that Gravelord Message you get only appears after the Gravelord Servent has been slain.

Should touch a bonfire nearby like undead parish by smith so you don't have to walk all the way from chaos daughter when you die in sen's fortress

I plan on it lol, just stopped at firelink to take a break and feed Frampt/have him break down some stuff.

Man-Serpent Greatsword and Demon Great Machete are two that come to mind. They're greatswords though, not sure if you were just asking about normal swords.

I usually prefer quick weapons and builds but I had a lot of fun with those two. Butcher Knife is another good one but it's considered an axe *shrug*.

Yeah, no greatswords. They leave too much of an opening and axes' range suck. Not to mention they suck for small spaces.

I think I'm going to have to look into dex based swords for what I'm wanting.

None of the straight swords go above a C in strength scaling.

The Butcher Knife is only considered an axe. It has MUCH greater reach (comparable to a Claymores) than any other axe. Golem Axe's projectile strong attack excluded.

EDIT: Black Knight Great Axe has good reach too. B STR scaling too.

First invasion of the night: a hacker. Kicked/chain stabbed/parried him off a cliff. 300k souls earned. :D

EDIT: Luv2CremFraiche and OverlordMomo are team mate hackers that broke the hell out of the game. They killed me with curse and gave me Power Within.

It's hard to tell. I know there's lots of Fight Club streamers that have a fairly loyal following of players.

As for randoms? My strict NAT settings make it difficult for me to connect with other players, so I'm not a good person to ask. Josiah seems to have a much better track record than me.

I don't know how much longer I can hold out on buying it for the PC since the Steam sale is on and I suddenly have disposable income again... oh god, the temptation... I just don't want to get it if there is no online activity.

The thought of online with no lagstabs etc is just beautiful though ...
