Also, debating whether I should play S&S...what do you guys think?
If you enjoy the side scrolling platformers, I'd go for it.
On another note, I've finally started that Quality+Luck Bleed Build I hyped up near release. Yay Obscuring Ring, no more Rosaria's Fingers for me.
Aldrich Faithful is such a waste of time, everytime I'm auto summoned I'm just automatically up against 3 phantoms who have already cleared the area of enemies and just rush me where I appear.
Only doing this to get all spells and rings as well. EDIT: Ugh...got a back attack on a host after he tried to do a ridiculously slow heavy attack and he pulled his network cable, ***. On another note, I've finally started that Quality+Luck Bleed Build I hyped up near release. Question: can you give others covenant items like concords, pale tongues etc in online play? If yes, I might just make a new character with 99 Luck to farm items on NG, should be faster than farming on my current character (NG+). ![]() Those are just a few of the weapons. I'll be focusing on bleed weapons, but the quality nature lets me pick up nearly any weapon I want. Such as my precious, precious Murakumo. You can drop some Vigor for Vitality instead. Effective cap for vigor is 40, and any bonuses you get past that are incredibly minimal. Or you can hit 40 luck and 21 Vitality,
Luck is essentially 40. Being hollowfied and equipped with a hallow infused weapon adds +5 luck. I could offhand the caestus with hollow infusion and get the maximum +10, but I'm not that much of a try-hard.
Vitality doesn't matter for me, as it has no tangible reward in a poiseless environment. If you wanted to raise it, you could carry heavier weapons! :D :D?
But for realies, having high HP past the, "Effective Cap," isn't bad. Heck, there've been plenty of times that higher than normal HP has saved my ***. \o/ Basically that. And I don't need more VIT than base + Prisoner chain + FaP Ring.
My first build is at base VIT, with PC and FaP, while swinging around the Old Wolf Curved Sword and Farron Greatsword with no roll speed detriment. VIT really boosts your physical defense
Ragnarok.Raenil said: » FaP Ring. My first build is a FaP, while swinging around That was the idea. :D
Ragnarok.Zeig said: » VIT really boosts your physical defense Which suits me fine, because Fashion Souls for days. But there are no suits in Dark Souls 3 :O
Anything can be a dapper suit if you believe in it hard enough.
*peers down at his loincloth*
Hmmm... VIT adds base defense values, in the same manner that just having a piece of armor works, so I figure it's not bad to invest in it.
Armor bonuses do not weigh as much, so Fashion Souls is totally ok. It's fine for PvE.
It does virtually nothing for PvP though, for whatever reason. I don't pretend to understand From's developers thought process. :< If someone is gliding around, their feet not moving are they abusing their network connection or something?

Onto Watchdogs of Farron. Cerberus.Tidis said: » Yus Great Deep Soul, no more Gank Souls 3! Onto Watchdogs of Farron. I find it kind of funny. All the items you can invade for drop like hotcakes compared to Ears for Darkmoons from the enemies that do drop them. The most timing consuming to farm outside of Darkmoon Ears is probably the Vertebrae Shackles since you gotta kill them Carthus skeles with the thick bones.
I wouldn't know though, because I got all my items through invading, except for Ears of course. I got like 8 of my Ears from being summoned, the other 22 from farming 5 million souls worth of Silver Knights on NG normal. |
