Dark Souls & other Souls-Likes
Nevermind, just loaded up 3/4 Havel + Mother's Mask, Power Within/Green Blossom 2h spammed my way to victory. Feels kinda lame given it's as simple as running up and smashing R1 until you have to recover HP <_< but the deed is done. Now if I can survive the beginning part of Duke's Archives (lol) then I can die horribly in the DLC!
It's to save Solaire basically, and to skip the lava if you didn't get the lava ring.
So this is where Josi spends his days now.
You have to trade 30 humanity to Quelaag's Sister "Quelaan"
I want too, only played Demons Souls.
I want to play Demeon's Souls :(
I'll get Dark Souls some day soon, spent so much time on Demons Souls had a blast or 30
Is there a way to reset a npc that you attacked by accident?
At the top of the church where you ring the first bell, after ringing it go back down the ladder and there will be a guy with his arms spread open.
You can pay for your sins, but it's very expensive. Will they reset even if i kill them?lol
SL: 120 (Currently SL 60. My VIT is only 25 and Faith is 14, so going to start pumping points into those.)
VIT: 40~ ATU: 18 (4 slots) STR: 18 DEX: 12 END: 40 INT: 14 FAI: 50 Using Astora's Short-Sword, a Crescent Axe, and not sure what type of weapon I'll max out Divine/Occult on to use further. I'm either going to go Princess Guard or Sunbro as I'm focusing on Co-Op this round through, at least for now since I'm co-oping with my buddy. I figured M.DEF and healing/magic offense is a good way to go defensively, since that's innately how I play. Carbuncle.Josiahfk said: » Phoenix.Ninjie said: » Will they reset even if i kill them?lol All it does is let you leave convenents without losing rank and without gaining sin or wipe away past sins of npcs aggroing you (they will revert back to inert if they were beforehand but once you kill npcs they will remain dead until your NG+ I'm hoping the Blacksmith in the Undead Parish didn't mean much Need 50 Faith first. When I hit SL 120, or maybe a little before, I'll get it, yeah.
That Blacksmith is like the primary Blacksmith. >_> He upgrades weapons past 5, past 10, makes Divine/Occult weapons. You'll also have to take the Hydra path to Sif as opposed to the locked door. It's good that it makes it hard to be invaded but can also corner you pretty easy. Restarting the game it is then...
You might be able to give said Embers to someone else, but I've never tried since Andres is my favorite smith. If you get close to my level I can give you a divine weapon (SL60 but idk that I'll be in this range long. I've got a goal for SL120 now. Though I do have a SL18 I can probably make you a Divine weapon with.) which you can then do Catacombs with too. No need to totally restart.
Na, you can't.
If you're early in the game and you attacked/killed him you might as well start over, unless you really enjoy a challenge. There are other paths you can take, but he is the primary blacksmith and you won't really be able to upgrade anything w/o him. He could take a Magic/Enchanted/Fire/Chaos weapon to max but that's about it. Other than that, you'd have to rely on Twinkling Titanite stuff, or things you pick up, like the Lightning Spear, Occult Club, etc.

You would have to find one already made, like spear, club, etc He's the only one that can ascend a +5 to +6 but Magic/Fire weapons start at +5 from different smiths.
ah yea, you can upgrade it to 5 normally but then you have to go to him to make the +6
Sunlight Spear is fantastic in PvE, but in PvP it's easier to dodge than soul spear.
Andre is easily the most important blacksmith in the game, and the Giant Blacksmith is right behind him. The good news is he is very early game. Ninjie, if you're on 360 I can help ya with the game. Twinkling Titanite path weapons aren't bad, most of them are OP actually haha. Tikal: If I remember right, Occult weapons gain a larger stat scaling from faith, but also do more magic damage which can produce some lackluster results. I'd just go for a +15 and use Sunlight Blade or Darkmoon Blade as weapon buffs, but there may be no atunement space for that. Sidenote: After getting continually ganked in the forest I decided to venture down into Blighttown to pick up the Great Club. I +15'd that sucker and am enjoying 1-shotting people in Red Tearstone range. I escaped a 3v1 by 1-shotting their summoner with only 4 hp left. It was glorious haha. |
