You online now? I just started a new game on my high level. Have made it to the undead parish :3
Dark Souls 2 Collectors Edition and Black Armor edition preorders have sold out on amazon... not sure about other sites.
Just something to think about, there were megamules on the PC before the consoles - that's how the PS3 one came to be. The community on the consoles are larger, 360 community is at least twice as large as the PC community. Framerate skips DO happen in Blighttown no matter what system you're on - friend has a GTX 770 Hawk from MSI, and an i7 4770k with 8GB of 2133mhz ram and still has framerate issues. Let's also not ingore the modded Crystal Greatswords on ALL platforms. The infinite stamina and HP glitches, those things. The only benefit to PC is all-in-all the better presentation, assuming that they actually manage a faithful PC version, the port for DKS 1 was abysmal. Japanese developers are notoriously bad about making quality PC games. Just my 2 souls' worth. 5 Things You DEFINITELY Didn't Know About Dark Souls!

I just kinda... stay in touch
I kinda picked it back up to do a modded playthrough. NG+, Aggression Mod, and All Gravelord's Servants Mod, and of course starting out with nothing but the standard stuff you would in a new game. It made the game really fun (and chaotic), so I've been enjoying that. Going to try to see where I need to keep my upgrades at, might push it up to NG+7 if upgrades seem to weaken the mods, to balance it out. Most difficult parts of the game I anticipate are:
Also some points of the game will be broken, so I might have to remember to disable Aggression mod for parts like...
I still brainstorm builds, but I don't have much time for making them anymore.
I'm not very good at PvP stuff like that, I just like to feel the challenge and overcome it.
idk, I still struggle against the AI of the computer, I find that normal players either completely fail or destroy me because of it. That's not to say I haven't had close battles, but I don't consider myself a PvP'er and I don't think I can be at that level of play really.
Editing the AI and aggression range of the AI so they swarm me is more ideal, since I'll have more control over the difficulty and it's not as random as the PvP system is. Monsters won't flip around all over the place or try to constantly holding their shield up trying to get to your back to backstab you, and lag won't affect the battle either. The aggression mod and the gravelord servant mods takes care of the unexpected / unanticipated problem. For example, if you get too close to the church in undead parish you'll pull all the undead knights, the gravelord servant tank and the normal tank that is guarding the firekeeper soul. You basically get swarmed, you have to be more tactical.
yes, it's broken. The game wasn't intended to be that way and you pulling stuff that wasn't meant to be pulled yet can at times break a challenge you would have had before but now it's just diminished cause you can take care of it in a different location. It also means that you have to be more careful. If you pull the sorcerers and the dreadlings for example with the stuff i mentioned before, the sorcerer would buff everything around it which can be a serious issue. Broken yes, but I'm having fun with it even tho I have to remember to disable it at certain parts like I mentioned above. I haven't played in 7 months lol. Just got really distracted and never felt the urge to come back to it.
Asura.Josiahfk said: » You and I most likely have every single monster spawn memorized by now, meaning the second you load the game in undead church or appeoach it, you know exactly 16 mobs are going to rush you plus the BP mobs. It's not like ninja gaiden where higher difficulty introduces completely new monsters you've ndver met each time and new bosses etc It does sound exciting test wise, would be fun to see a BP black knight in the kiln one shot a lvl 710 with an R1 lol Does it have potential? Sure. Will it live up to it? Its Capcom, soooooo....NO. Lets stick with Dark Souls 2.
The most recent sneak peaks are...disappointing at best.
I mean, you have scrolls that you stop time with, and you can walk around the room while a dragon, with the stupidest AI I've ever seen mind you, is blowing fire. You have like 30 seconds to just...walk around, with everything stopped. You can throw firebombs and they stop in mid air, and when the timer expires your attacks go off all at once. It doesn't fit, it really.... REALLY... doesn't fit. Does Deep Down feature PvP?
