Chaos is fire damage that scales with your humanity up to 11. Going full fire+10 is useless really.
If you're going to go to the effort to +5 Chaos a weapon, you'd never be "naked" humanity. Even as a level 2 you should always have at least 11 humanity, if you have a chaos weapon anyway.
Not like humanity is hard to get.
Being "naked" and using a chaos weapon is like building an enchanted weapon and not investing any stats into INT.
WOW anor londo is officially my new grinding spot.
those giants are so easy to kill and give 1500 per X_x, clean both buildings out rinse+repeat. already gained 2 easy levels lol.

This. Or any weapon with divine damage. Astora's straight sword is also really easy to get. I believe that's the name of it lol.
I can also give you a divine Longsword
I still remember the feeling I got the first time I zoned into anor londo. My jaw literally hit the floor. I dont know if it was because I was so relieved to make it there or because it was so beautiful. Probably both lol.
SKS doesn't need faith to do decent damage though. He seems to be on his way to a dex build so...

Yeah, it's probably his best weapon for The Catacombs by far, but it can be a pain in the *** if you have ***luck with RNG.
Though I guess I could just give him one of those as well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm not in NG+ yet of course on my lvl 2 but at the moment I'm up to around 35 humanity on it. With quite a bit of the hard stuff in reserve.
We'll see how it goes in NG+. :3

No your level does not reset and your max level depends on your starting class.
Warrior, Bandit, Hunter, Cleric, and Deprived: Lvl 710
Knight and Thief: Lvl 711
Wanderer and Pyromancer: Lvl 709
Sorcerer: Lvl 713
Essentially your max level is what it takes to get all stats to 99.
It will take 1,704,000,000 souls to reach SL713.

Multiple ways to get by them...
Either rush up to the mid-way point (the square part) and wait for them to stop shooting, then sprint up to the one on the right and get right in his face to make him melee. At which point he should either fall off or you can beat him with a parry/riposte.
Or you can also use a bow (Longbow probably since you don't have the dragonslayer bow yet) and use poison arrows to let them slowly die. Takes forever though.
The Ring of Fog helps tremendously with avoiding aggro at long range though getting said ring is a bit unrealistic for someone on their first playthrough unless you're willing to spend a decent amount of time invading with the Forest Hunter Covenant.
I think I'd still prefer just watching the AI derp and kill themselves.

Hah. I had one the other day that would invade then immediately leave after the first time. He backstabbed me and maybe did 300 damage to me. I 1-shot him with a normal attack. It was like I was the only one in the area.

You should have beat him with your bare fist... Or put your Dark Hand into him ^.^
Why are you showing mercy in a game like Dark Souls? If people want mercy they should be playing something besides this. :P
I didn't say you couldn't have fun. I'm just saying you shouldn't show mercy because someone is new to the game.
If they don't want to be invaded they should either play offline or stay hollow.
I look at it as a chance to get to do whatever the *** you want when you happen to get that lucky noob that has no clue how to fight. Like... kick them off the cliff, or use some stupidly large weapon that would normally get you killed.
The no-fun place is when people straight up gank or blast you while you're bowing. You don't have to show mercy but at least adhere to the standards of a proper duel.
Basically imo... If you at least bow before the duel then you can do whatever you want.. and none of that "Well, what is it", etc. when you win. Unless you're *** around with friends. :3

Then I'll bow again when the duel is over.
