Just to bring this topic back up, MS announced they're shutting down games for windows live, and I'm pondering the fate of dark souls for PC, because it runs off of it. They just patched dark souls to remove an exploit that could ruin your stats (which also broke the mouse fix, possibly DS connectivity fix, and the frame rate uncapping thing). I'm REALLY hoping FROM Software will patch the game so we can still play it without games for windows, maybe put in steamworks instead.

Got a msg on psn about dark souls 2 closed beta. Im downloading it now ^^/
It was last night/this morning. Or supposed to be. North and South America are being rescheduled because the servers exploded. So they only let EU and JP players in.
It took them two hours to let us know they were keeping North and South American players out. The amount of rage in all the streams was a sight to behold.

Yea I just did the research. Was so hype, but I guess it was only from 2 am est to 5 am est. At least ill be ready for the next time.
Update: From Software announced on Twitter that a fourth network test for Dark Souls 2 will take place on Nov. 10 at 4 pm JST / 2 am ET.

At first, I thought the song was an unrelated song that had its lyrics loosely fit the premise of Dark Souls, even after mentioning the bells...till he mentioned the Parish!
