Hundred Fists Sets!
Do you have one? What do you hundred fists in? Is it necessary? Please discuss!
Stack all the haste you can get your hands on.
Multi-hit>crit-rate>attk>str IMO
Remove all haste/martial arts gear and toss on multi-attack, critical hit rate, attack, and strength? (in that order)
Pretty much just swap black belt to anguinus, ganesha's to thaumas hat, and call it a day.
Go to bed!
it's only like 11:30 :( and i need to go level archer
I'll pick up another job and play with you tomorrow. When your mnk gets to my archer we can lv those together as well
Will go by much faster w/ exp bonus we get from resting Do we need archer and lancer to 30?
I'll have to check on bg, not sure how far we have to take them tbh
well at 42 is that non-archer specific enmity down ability. :(
Definitely keep tantra +2 boots, and ghillie +1 unless attack capped.
I never put a lot of effort in mine since when it matters, probably getting embrava/marches anyways.

Just started MNK; not 99 yet, and don't have empy/relic weapon. how's this look?
oh, and sorry for the necrobump EDIT: just got 99 and >300 H2H skill, no longer have any use for a staff in that. still using the basic setup of multihit since i never seem to never finish an attack animation before HF wears off. Offline

The best gear for HF is the same as your normal gear (except body and haste). Windbuffet belt is the best upgrade from general monk's TP gear. The best (except capped attack or uncapped acc situtaion, since they rarely happen anyway) is :
Spharai or vere / hagneai thaumas head, rancor, brutal, attack AF3+2, nomkahppa, oneiros, eponas atheling, windbuffet, tantra +2, tantra +2. That, on top of the extra attack and acc you have from using an A+ ranked weapon (h2h) instead of a B ranked weapon (staff), in addition to martial arts, kick attacks, and the fact that smite/spiral weapon skill damage is high enough to warrant interrupting HF auto-attack cycles to weapon skill, all boil down to this: You will never, ever, ever hundred fist with a staff, unless you are trying to proc something in VW as though your life depended on it. Pretty sure you should always HF with H2H equipped since Martial Arts is factored in before HF's delay reduction.

Nah. Use the staff. Be different. Be cool.
Although, I think if you're going to use a staff, you probably want more Store TP gear? I dunno. I do know that you should definitely stay in AF3+2 legs. But seriously, HF sets? I wouldn't go out of my way to find gear just for HF, except for Relic legs. Sylph.Peldin said: » Nah. Use the staff. Be different. Be cool. I wouldn't go out of my way to find gear just for HF, except for Relic legs. You can re-use gear pieces from your TP sets, so it's not like you gonna carry alot of extra stuff for this. Augmented Relic pants would be useful, and Anguinus/Windbuffet belt depending on your wallet/preferance if you choose to optimize HF set. You don't have to keep relic pants +2 on for the duration bonus, they just need to be equipped when you use the JA.

I never said full-time pants. Just saying they are the only item I would spend time/money obtaining to improve HF. Other than that, I just HF in whichever TP set is appropriate, be it uncapped or capped attack.
Was responding to Zelphes, wasn't sure if he just meant to wear them for the JA or wearing them during HF as well.
