All Worlds Maintenance (May 15)
I'd say something is def wrong with XI view. That might not be the crashing problem. Friend plays with windower and he just updated. Everything overwrote and his signet is the normal icon and size. I think after I updated it was normal, but I logged out 5 mins later and re-applied XI view and now my icons are f*cked.

Did file check and all working good ...
Just finished mine as well, icons are working again.
Icon problem is XI View, crashing problem unconfirmed. This must be why I never noticed it. I use keyboard sometimes but apparently not enough to notice the delay. Makes no sense why there would be a delay but at least it is fixed now.
Yea, forgot how long its been since I played on xbox, 5,000+ files *** that ***.
The delay was one of the reasons I didn't like using keyboard. On unfamiliar macro sets I'd have to wait to see what I need.
Well, might have isolated the issue, although I don't know what it is. I had all XI View .dats on. Icons were messed up, and I used Hasso but I didn't crash. I wanted to put all the .dats back to normal so I got the XIview 1.12 file and opened the '00 - Originals Backup' folder and put them all back assume that was all the originals. I opened PoL and did a file check after and it changed nothing. I got back in the game and text was back to the original but the icons were still screwed. I used Hasso, and promptly crashed, lol.
when trying to look at the map on the airship but it crashed...

You shouldn't be using XI View right after an update unless you know it works or you manually backed up the files you just downloaded and installed for FFXI. If you skip doing this you run the risk of something going wrong with your game and you'll end up having to delete the files you just placed in your game folder and doing a long file check to get them all back.

Best update ever? (y/y)
Wasn't there a time reduction for crafting delay coming or in the works? Guild merchant delay is a nice addition, but I hate waiting between synths.

Bojack tried placing the 'original backup' files in the rar which won't help because they are the files before todays update. The following synergy recipe has been introduced: There might be some low level recipes they added for Chocobiscuit, Moogurt (probably not), Mog Missile, and Bubble Breeze, but they aren't Expert. Also, Moogurt is dispensed by the new body (ick?) so it might not be synthable at all. How do I go about this long file check? I assume the check files button in PoL before you log in isn't the same cause that comes up with nothing. When it scans for them now it thinks they are fine apparently for some reason, file check usually always does that for me. So you'll have to delete them to make it redownload the files. I removed all the files I put in from the ROM folders, so they are currently missing. I hit check files in PoL on the screen before I even log in. It comes up with nothing, only lasts about 20 seconds. Seems like it's only checking files related to PoL and not FFXI files.
