What Atmacite Combo Do You Use?

For Voidwatch what Atmacite combo do you use?

Depends on your job, mainhand weapon, gear availabile, and whether you're willing to use seperate gearsets just for VW.

Good question but broadly put out there; I'd be curious as well as I'm newer to VW and usually only go mage/support with limited upgrade ability at the moment.

Are there generalized better combos people use?

I know it's very subjob/gear dependent but there's usually some kind of guidelines, yeah? Some of the below may be wrong or missing ideas as I don't know any better; going from what I've seen from many pick up groups. ^^;

Tanking? (PLD NIN MNK)

Straight tp/ws damage (WAR DRK DRG SAM MNK DNC NIN RNG BLU)?

Ranged? (RNG COR with Wildfire, COR no Wildfire)

Damage mages (BLM SCH BLU)?

Support mages (WHM RDM SCH BRD BLU BRD)?

Pet jobs (BST SMN PUP)?

Pretty sure all jobs have been discussed in their respective forums. I know we have in Cor 101.

I don't have much cruors so currently my atmacites are :

-> DRK : persistence eminence and discipline all lvl 15
-> BLM : destruction lvl 15 eminence (lol) and mysticism lvl 11

i would replace eminence with botulux rex atmacite on blm, and discipline with Valiant on drk.

I ment for it to be broad so anyone can answer they way like too.

Not necessarily; all job forums don't have great 101 posts like the COR DNC BLU forums do with full gear set ups and atma/atmacite suggestions per situation. If you do a general search "atmacite" in SCH you get some discussion on Atmacite of Devotion but that's pretty much it.

A general discussion on the general Voidwatch sub-forum didn't seem like an awful idea. /shrug


No I get you, but a little focus is good on the forums while leaving it open too. Folks here like to have some direction to answer to or a starting point to bounce off of for their thoughts. That's why I was wondering with the different categories above.

Will for me on monk I use:

Atmacite of Coercion Lv.15
Atmacite of Provenance Lv.12
Atmacite of the Valiant Lv.4

I now there is a better setup then that already, because I'm using a atma that doesn't help me DD wise at all. But in pug you never know if your getting a good or bad one.

And Valiant idk lol

SMN forum needs a good, detailed 101 post, for those who really care how to gear/play the job in multiple situations. Atmas/Atmacites/Gear sets/etc.
