Well I ran outside and cast a few spells on stuff but wasn't impressed... Can't say I've played BLU much since the delve update but i'm not seeing much of a boost (was using delve sword).

Hopefully i'm just stupid and somebody else will report spectacular things

That's because unless you're using the new club, there is no boost (yet).

Delve sword has no effect on BLU spells. Only weapon in-game atm that does is the club from one of the new Naakuals. By how much I cant say due to no one attempting them yet.

It is an artifact of the update being split into two parts. They didn't have time to go back and retrofit Oatixur and friends to the new system:

Plans going forward
In the August version update, the attributes of equipment added after the Seekers of Adoulin release for which its item level is displayed are scheduled to be adjusted.
* These adjustments are not planned to change the intended use of the equipment in question.

Was sort of odd for them to add that in this update, little disappointing that no one will be able to get any actual use out of the Blu(specific) changes for now. Wouldn't mind having some reason to switch to the job again.

not sure if adding to actual guide, but with the advent of monsters in these new zones actually resisting things like dream flower and yawn, I cobbled together a max magic accuracy set for blu.

ItemSet 307519

Don't really need all of it at once (most likely), so can change pieces around for fast cast, haste, conserve MP, whatever.

Was there a Sudden Lunge Ninjanerf (or official one I missed) or was crappy Aby NM bird Avalerion always immune to our stun and I somehow never noticed it?

Edit: Fixed terrible spelling of that NM's name.

They said they increased Magic Resistances on all mobs and players so maybe that's playing some part in it.

Edit: I suppose those JP BLUs aren't so silly with their Magic Acc swords now >.>;

Yeah, scratch that, I'm a moron, and despite loving Blu I never actually bring it to anything, so guess I just never noticed, tried two more crappy NMS in the area (Manohra and Asanbosam) and it was business as usual, sorry for posting here but I figured if anyone would know it would be Proth, and while I'm here, let me thank you for your epic, epic Blu guide.

Ok now that the STR / DEX update has happened. Any new gear sets that hit the ~630 accuracy for Delve boss's? With how much DEX BLU's get on their gear should of been a massive boost.

There is also the newly released Cornflower Cape for an additional 4 Magic Accuracy :)

Anyone have an updated BLU tp set for the new SoA zones? I have been doing reives lately on blu with TP set that isn't too different from the one listed as "Delve TP" on the guide, and I am far from capped accuracy and many of my spells are failing. Using sushi, things get a little bit better, but I do believe that the set needs more accuracy for the new zones (especially the pink birds, they seem to be very evasive).

Accuracy upgrades you can make to the suggested set are Letalis, honed tathlum and if still not enough heartseeker/dudgeon earrings. That should be enough if your delve gear is upgraded.

ItemSet 307853
644 ACC
-27 Attack
-5% Dual Wield
+4% Double Attack
+23 DEX
+3% Crit rate

ItemSet 307857
647 ACC
+27 Attack
+5% Dual Wield
-4% Double Attack
-23 DEX
-3% Crit rate

Assumes a Hume with DEX merits for balance. Set B is very likely the winner between the two. Can add more accuracy if needed by switching in Dudgeon/Heartseeker earrings, Hurch'lan Sash, and having Halachuinic on DEX path. Also doesn't count DEX from spells or Accuracy Bonus being set. Adding set B to the guide until I bother with the math for it.

Ran some numbers, weaponskill damage shouldn't be a major issue. Monster stats reflect estimated values for Tojil.

Requiescat
ItemSet 307867

Monster (before debuffs)
1500 Defense
850 Evasion
150 Vitality
150 Agility

Player
1207 (-33% Aura is accounted for)
778 Accuracy (capped hitrate after debuffs)

Without Any: 2064

Vorpal Blade
ItemSet 307879

Monster (before debuffs)
1500 Defense
850 Evasion
150 Vitality
150 Agility

Player
1518 Attack (-33% Aura is accounted for)
796 Accuracy (capped hitrate after debuffs)
224 Strength
+5 Crit rate

Buffs
Berserk
Triumphant Roar
Chaos Roll (IV)
4x Minuet +5
Aggressor
Hunter's Roll (IV)
2x Madrigal +5
Boost-STR
Fighter's Roll (V)
Rogue's Roll (V)
Sole Sushi

Debuffs

Can switch between the two in different damage reduction/bonus phases to maximize output. Vorpal set could probably do with some swaps (feet, body).
