As has been mentioned repeatedly, the low haste and low defensive stats do have a negative impact, but how severe that impact is will vary based on what you're doing and your playstyle.
I dont see these negative impacts ppl are mentioning, this set works just fine for stuff like cleave parties or straight nuking stuff in escha or vagary, the loss of haste isnt a killer (at least for me).
Places i use blu cleave: reisenjima flux 5, friends stay at the bridge while i kill mosquitos, frogs and beetles, as blu/rdm it is almost impossible to die here just keeping aquaveil, occultation and barrier tusk, unlimited MP with hipos at day and beetles at night and you can net 100+ JPs easy here either solo or for your friends (they ca nstay at the bridge and get full CP from all sides).
Vagary: again like the last mention i said, if you go blu/rdm its very rare to die here unless your party gets a sleepga and yo usuddenly get zerged by 10 elementals and even then, just swap to your dt set and subduction > put distance > heal/buff and kill.
For me this set just adds some more macc to my debuffs and more power of course for nukes, the only downside i see is the lack of haste and its a minor one really, if u keep yourself hasted with erratic + MG, the recast will be very low anyway.

Just for argument's sake, let's compare a cast of Anvil Lightning with solely Erratic Flutter in full HQ Jhakri and my current set:
Herc helm
Amalric body/legs/hands
AF3 feet
With full HQ Jhakri, I have a recast of ~33 seconds, while with my current set I have a recast of ~23 seconds.
You can see how, if you're relying on magic damage over time, particularly a single spell, the Jhakri set can become quite the hindrance. If the element of the spell you're using is not important, or you're simply looking for highest damage for a single spell, Jhakri is great. However, the negatives many people have brought up since its release remain valid concerns.
I will 100% vouch for the set's strength for elemental WSs, however. It's made a very noticeable improvement to my sets.

If you need that element and only that for a certain battle then yes, it raises your recast a bit but then again, you could just go blm or sch and abuse that element for MBing or something.
In my aoe spellset i got 3 aoe big hitters plus subduction and there isnt a situation where ill be waiting to cast stuff (either a big one or subduction).
And if you are pulling large amounts instead then you arent waiting for recasts either, in this case its basically pull > subduction or dream flower if applicable > kill them.
And i could name more examples like if you are in an apex party doing cdc > cdc > light for the nukers to MB, you'll have anvil lightning (or any light side one) ready in btw BA recast as well so again its not a problem here.
Is it the best set? amalric +1 is better imo and the fact it doesnt have haste or more defensive stats lowers the utility of it for TPing also (at least for BLU, i got a rdm friend that's loving this new set).

out of that list of swords on the front page, which is the easiest to aim for for a fresh 99?
iirc, you can get some pieces from RoE intermediate quest, and among the rewards, you can get the Claidheamh Soluis just running few errands on skirmish.

Is that 100 JP/hr? I've been too busy to CP, figured I'd wait for the campaign, but that sounds good if it's anywhere around there.

I don't know what problem I should be having because, as my post stated, I don't even know what you were trying to say. You're arguing with yourself at the moment.

I'm 100% supportive of gear discussion and civil argument, but we're not going into personal fights in this thread.
I'm not entirely certain as to what's going on, as I legitimately do not understand what Azriel is saying, but I'm just nipping it now based on Mookies' reaction.

What? I was talking to Azriel to not come after anybody for using this gear. I have zero idea how you managed to take it that way.

I just meant it was over with, lol. This doesn't need to go on.
I knew there were camps outside of escha that you could hit 50-70 JP solo on BLU during events. But that was before escha stuff came out. So I'm not sure what we are capable of now JP/HR wise. Maybe I'm just remembering wrong.

I've used the spot he mentioned before, and it's pretty accurate. I got a bit higher due most likely to larger CP bonus gifts, but we can get quite a lot even solo. Reisenjima specifically gives a very large amount of CP per cleave.
With the campaign coming up, though, I'd suggest Apex mobs instead, as the chain bonus just gets absurd with them. However, even Reisenjima cleaving or single target kills can be excellent CP/hour as long as you keep the chain.

CP chain on single target always seems to randomly drop even though kill speed doesn't change. Maybe I'm just not pulling fast enough. I figured the apex camps are going to be swamped when the event rolls out so was looking for alternatives. Hrm.

Time allowed for chains is pretty generous up to chain 29 or 30. After that, the timer falls to around 30 seconds. I've been told it'll vary slightly depending mob level, but I know it was 30 seconds when I used to do Woh Gates bunnies/worms before Apex mobs.

Reisenjima is a very good alternative to Apex camps if they're crowded. Port 3 has a bunch of mobs, particularly at night. If you take port 5 and follow the river south to J7, you'll come to a hill absolutely swarmed with ladybugs, mantis, chigoes, lucani at night, and toads in the river. One of my favorite spots for single-target kills.

A few questions!
1.) I don't have CDC. What is my go-to WS? Savage Blade seems to out-do Requiescat all the time despite having 5/5 merits. Or should I be going for Expiacion?
2.) Considering the above, what should my Sap augment be on Rosmerta's? I currently have attk/acc+20 and dex+20 from dusts/threads. Eventually going for the additional +10 accuracy from dyes, but I am not sure if I should go for crit rate on sap if CDC isn't the WS I am using. I am thinking dual wield or double attack? Maybe WS damage+? The OP says Store TP+ should be the option but I think that is strictly for Tizona/Almace users unless I am mistaken?
3.) Can I get by on a Claidheamh/Eminent or Claidheamh/Xiuleato combination until Escha weapons or is it worth the effort to get the Buramenk'ah as a stepping stone?
Thanks as always :D

Actually there is no excuse to not get CDC. This should be your highest priority since the WS is so strong.
If you really can't get it, savage blade should be the way to go. for savage your cape should have STR acc/att and WSDMG.
If you are going to get CDC, you should put crit rate on it (you can use it for WS and TP) if not put store TP or double attack on it.

Nibiru Blade aren't that hard to get if you got some ppl to help you,so you should be able to skip bura.

Savage blade is going to be your next best but honestly you just need to get CDC. It will take you maybe 2-3 Hours to unlock WoE if you don't have it and then maybe a few nights of farming to get enough die/residue to get CDC. It seems daunting but it can be done with some relative ease. (One day of farming if you go hard at it).
The difference in power of CDC vs. any other sword WS is pretty glaring especially when you consider its amazing ability to close light and darkness.
Requiescat is really good when enemies start resisting damage types. Caturae that use Tabiyaa Gambit gain a shield that Requiescat is boss at dropping. Also slashing resistant mobs will take more damage from RC than from CDC.

I was looking at the requirements for getting CDC from a Woe99 Weapon and it almost seemed like getting Almace to 90 was a quicker route but I guess not? I thought getting all the die and residue was super expensive/super long to farm. *shrug*

Clarification about the 100/hour just doing cleaving @flux 5, it was on the last CP campaign when i was PLing JPs on some friends, i was doing 2-3 hours sessions so i didnt got burnt out.
U got lots of mosquitos here, beetles at night added and frogs in the river (5 in 1 side and 4 in the other) plus 3 hypos in the day to MH, in the night just do it on the beetles to save travel time and danger since the other side of the bridge is full of undead and those dark fairies.
Another spot i like is the flux 2 past the bridge, go down to the pond and you'll have mosquitos, frogs and boars too.

You might just want to wait a few days. You can get Dice/Liminal Residue from Sinister Reign Fiat Lux campaign and Coins from this months login campaign.

It would take probably 5-10 days or so of 12-16 hours grind a day to get the Alamce to 90 whereas you can get the 100 Liminal Residue/100 Devious die and 30 Coins of Glory in about a day of hard farming.
I highly recommend finding some time to get that ASAP, if not just living in WoE until you come out with CDC.

I've collected nearly all of the Emp WS's by farming them up. It's not nearly as bad as you think, especially if there are people there to help when the walk gets empowered. But you can just farm it by rotating normal walks. You will randomly get sacks which can give you a big chunk of the needed items. The only walk that is kind of dangerous is the mandy one, due to the doom tp move, bring some holy waters.
And on the plus side, if people are there farming, you might get the drop they're looking for too! Lots of those items still sell for a couple mil. So keep an eye out for what flux people are farming.
