Ah so it is possible to get them outside Skirm / Vagary

Cool :O

and as far as Fire one , i manage to get Seraring spell off it, need "Blinding Fulgor" now ><

Spectral Floe

Anvil Lightning and Silent Storm

Also here is another question related to those spells

Do I need to Silence "Elementals" for them to use it ?

I noticed if I silenced them they use 1 of the 2 spells , but not the other >.<

Not sure if Luck or Actual Discovery ^^; (At least for me)

That info be Really really helpful right now (Using Chaotic Eye)

I got Spectral Floe and Scouring Spate in Morimar Basalt Fields (they spawn during ice weather, around ponds). Anvil Lightning and Silent Storm I got in Yahse Hunting Grounds, north of the Frontier Station (near a beach, and in an intersection just before it).

Blinding Fulgor and Searing Tempest, you're better off getting from Skirmish or Vagary, because those rarely pop otherwise.

You don't need to silence them to force the move, but it might make them use it a little quicker if they can't spend time casting. I suggest getting them down to 25% as fast as you can, then just use a low damage weapon to feed them TP until they use the WS you want.

2100 ????

2100 possibly being "attributes that effect the potency of blue magic spells are considered to be n% higher when casting blue magic spells."

A title that indicates you have mastered the job, according to this post. Yup, our ultimate gift is a title <insert a trololol meme capture on a picture of some of the dev team>

Your healing set needs some Telchine. They can get augmeneted by Cure Potency or Cure Potency Recieved. Can also get a 13% body from Fenrir that also has fast cast and maybe refresh too, I forget.

For TP refresh you'd want Reforged Relic instead of Hagondes. Or get lucky with Incursion Mekosuchinae body.

I think mediocre augs of Taeon body will beat out Quaaxo.

Taeon Body >.> um.... not sure about that one cuz Qaaxo has (Double+2%/Triple+2%/ATK+15/EVA+74/M.EVA+64/DEF:130) While Taeon has (DEF:128/EVA+49/M.EVA+64/ATK+10)(Not augmented) was thinking of Having Taeon Body for my Fast Cast set (Augmenting it with FC+ so it be +5~9% FC total) but not sure.

also Telchine ? >.>

I got almost 5/5 of that but havent even bother to augment it or look at it rly.......

Also got Helios Un-Augmented

Would you please post a SET for curing that would use Telchine and what augm am i looking for ?

Also could you Check on the Taeon Body and what Augm would be better (FC+1~5% for FC set V.S. w/e else you thinking for TP-ing)

Ethereal Earring.
Traded that for Magnetic Earring (for GEO)

Also a Question came up:

Eddy Necklace (MAB+11 M.ACC+5 MP+20) V.S. Incanter's Torque (ALL Magic Skill+10) For AOE / Magical Spells on BLU

Still cant decide which be best option :X

Thanks for the help guys :D

Lmfao,

I just soloed Tezen on D with no trusts, WSed at 1% and got up for a little hand clap and spin. You know, that victory dance and everything. Had a string of some bad luck that ended me. Stuff like 8% after a perfect run and get suddenly 1 shoted through Occultation and stuff.

Apparently he wasn't done because he was still WSing me, took off my shadows, and then I took a meteor to the face for 1600 at 1% then went "oh ***!", jumped back to the keyboard, and WSed him again so he chilled out.

Aside from that one time it is a snore fest when you actually use trusts. 3/3 in that regard.

Congrats :D

and Thanks for the funny face reply up there :3

I get it, Eddy for Magic DMG and other for M.ACC+

ty ^^

Still iffy about body Taeon for TP-ing >.> Dont see how it is any better than Qaaxo :(

Trying to understand the Logic behind it

Thaumas is better than Qaaxo, if you can't decide :P

Depends on the target, if you need accuracy you would use an augmented Taeon body or a Rawhide with accuracy augment (not TA, think its path A, but TA is path D)

Thaumas sucks on DEF Department tho ><

I can see Rawhide with TA and ok Athos with ACC+ makes sense too , ty :D

Thinking Rawhide still >.> XD

So... noob question about modifiers... I know that BLU has different modifiers for different spells (Physical, Magical, support, etc).

For magical spells, I have been using as much MAB as possible but then again, I get resisted and/or do very low dmg when casting the spells higher tier nuking spells on higher level mobs, such as Spectral foe, Anvil Lightning, Searing Tempest, etc.

So what am I doing wrong? should I just focus on modifiers before stacking MAB? should I use more MACC gear? I've never been a mage until recently (loving blue) and I'd like some inputs.

Thanks in advance ;)

Wings need to be up for Tourb and it's very easy to 'break' them on the lower Khims via crits.

Learned mine in the Assault Bellerophon's Bliss. Don't kill the gobbie, he can roll dice and force Tourb.

Just being resisted. Hagondes/Helios pieces with a balanced mix of mab/macc augments or Amalric ftw.

Think he doesn't have the assault he was PMing me or something.

Nudged him back into the thread though.

Can't we just buy captain rank with RoV now at the Curio Moogle and he have it then?

No idea if you can buy Captain since I've had it forever. Considering that Unity TOAU Kings are incoming, he could wait until those come out or simply run up Salvage II. Faster than Tony the Tyger.

Generally, much like DDing, if you are not accurate then you need to first become accurate enough to then boost damage with attack bonus and modifiers..[/quote]

This is the set I'm using:

ItemSet 338939

Augments:
Helios Band is INT+10, MACC/MAB +20 Magic Critical 8%
Helios Gloves are INT/MND +7, MAB +23 Magic Critical +7%
Hagondes Pants MAB +17
Samnuha Coat has MAB/MACC +12 :/

:'( I'm using that set for nuking sets, I am wondering if there should be a set in between (fast cast > Mod > MAB)... But that should swap really fast (/sad panda).

That is a solid set.

However,
*Nibiru clubs would be an upgrade.
*I assume there is MAB and MACC on the Helios, but both if not.
*Lengo Pants augmented from Sinister have a nice MACC boost while still having a MAB.
*Obviously Almaric gear will be more accurate, but with support you can use that set on any content for nuking really.

Remember to eat https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Chocolate_Crepe if you need Macc.

Tenebral Crush being set also provides Macc.

Sorry, I submitted my post too fast, here are the augments:

Augments:
Helios Band is INT+10, MACC/MAB +20 Magic Critical 8%
Helios Gloves are INT/MND +7, MAB +23 Magic Critical +7%
Hagondes Pants MAB +17
Samnuha Coat has MAB/MACC +12 :/

Thanks about the food tip, I've been wondering if there was anything to boost macc! I guess you suggest Path B) MP+50, INT+10, MAB+15 for Nibiru Cudgel, right?

Depending on your amount of disposable income at the moment, I would suggest foregoing improvement on your current items and just buying better pieces in general for macc. Amalric body, hands, and legs are all superb in terms of MAB and also provide a very sizeable macc improvement over your current set. As you have double HQ Shivas, I'm betting it won't be too hard for you to afford the NQ Amalric pieces.

You do not need a modifier set during precast. Modifiers will only affect your spells during midcast, and in that case, you want MAB instead. Our new nuke modifiers will have an effect on the damage, but less so than MAB. The only time they become particularly important is during Burst Affinity, but even then, you want to prioritize MAB and just allow for the general stat vomit on gear to boost your damage rather than specifically aiming for the modifying stat.

Nibiru Cudgels path B are our strongest pure nuking weapons and have a nice bonus of added INT, magic damage +, and macc. Vampirism are by no means bad options, they're just lacking in INT, macc, and magic damage +. However, they have a plethora of other benefits, namely a piercing attribute and a ton of FC on each.
