Can melt Tojil without geo no problem.
But anyway, at 800 skill + dunna, Frailty potency is -27%.

Alright sorry this is the last one. Is the op cdc set still up to date? I'm also curious about legs for tp when accuracy is needed incase I really need the acc I don't like the thought of using mani legs for the squish factor. Oh and is a NQ Ramuh ring worth using over rajas?
-30 DEF isn't really going to make you "squishy", but if you really have a problem with Manibozho legs then there's Ighwa Trousers and Qaaxo path B. Both with 15 acc, Qaaxo with a bit more defensive properties.
The only things I'd change about the CDC set would be light belt over Wanion since the CDC changes, and possibly Nomkahpa +1 over Nilas, but I'm not sure how much of a difference the 1 DA and extra STR will make over the loss of 1 DEX. I don't know about an NQ Ramuh over Rajas. I'm assuming that you'd need to factor fSTR into the equation.
Manibozho are some of the absolute best accuracy legs you can use. One of an incredibly small amount of legs with native dex on them as well as 15 accuracy. If you really can't deal with it, then Ighwa Trousers are a decent alternative. Siren.Kyte

Qaaxo B and Ighwa Trousers are also acc options, although I think your fears are misplaced.
NQ Ramuh is worth using, yes. The OP CDC isn't up to date, but it isn't too far off. Ele belt is best (duh), Nomkahpa+1 are best when acc is otherwise capped, and I generally have Luhlaza head of Vanir. Man, you guys making me want to buy some Nom+1 hands...damn you!

Ok so just talking about this and I have been thinking.
All things the same 2da iutls tights + Shetal + Ej seems at face value to come out behind Sombra tights+1 + Asperity + Windbuffet+1 and in a less acc intensive situation when it comes to just legs n waist 2 da 5stp 2 DW vs 2 Ta 2QA Unless you actually utilize all the DW and need the stp to lose a hit still seeing the 2TA n QA coming out ahead. I hate the maths Does anyone know potentially which Adoulin completion ring would serve Blu best?
I'm looking at Renaye (+10 skill) and Weatherspoon ring (Great utility) mostly, but with such a massive pool to choose from, I'm not sure which to decide on. Would definitely go Weatherspoon if I was only considering BLU. Precast, Midcast, magic acc, Retinal Glare, Rail Cannon, Flash Nova/Seraph Strike, Magic Hammer.
As opposed to: Refresh, Metallic Body, Diamondhide, Magic Barrier, Atra. Libations. Might be useful for physical spells, but I'd imagine Ifrit Ring +1s would be hard to beat with normal attack now factoring into physical spell damage. Not to mention the singing skill, to my knowledge, is useless for BRD unless you can't hit 800 skill for Scherzo for some reason, and I don't think Geomancy spell potency increases beyond 800 skill which GEO can hit without the ring. If I had the ring, I'm pretty sure there'd be another. There's also a precision tier between 842 and 845. So yeah, GEO does have a use for the skill+ ring. It's just a question of if you want to dedicate your SoA reward to a bit of potency on some GEO spells. Bit of a bugger, being so many rings and only one you can keep lol, thanks for the insight folks.
Are the spell lists on the main page currently updated? I was under the impression that Sinker Drill was a pretty important spell but it doesn't show up on any of them. If they aren't updated, where can I find an updated list?

I'm trying to rework all my gearswap/macros and such from the foundation up and got to wondering, as gear starts working horizontally instead of vertically, are stat mod sets going to come back into play for blu physical spells? With enough gear that certain ilevel pieces are going to come out ahead on specific stats like str/dex, are the strmod sets for specific spells coming back or are we sticking with overall utility pieces looking at secondary stats like how attack is now a consideration?

If they aren't updated, where can I find an updated list? Are you just looking for a general /WAR pure melee setup? Without double checking, I think this is what I use for that: Quad. Continuum Delta Thrust Barbed Crescent Empty Thrash Heavy Strike Thrashing Assault Sudden Lunge Nat. Meditation Erratic Flutter Animating Wail Blazing Bound Mortal Ray Fantod Molting Plummage Sweeping Gouge Sinker Drill ..and 3 leftover points for Magic Fruit, Barrier Tusk, Cocoon, or Battery Charge. If you're getting Haste Samba, you can drop some DW. Yeah, it really cramps my set flexibility especially since I still only have 68 set points.

Yeah it does
My set often looks like that, but when I do salvage I remove Mortal Ray and Animating Wail for Sublimation and Battery Charge. To provide support in a party I'll remove the same spells and set Battery Charge, Winds of Promyvion, and Cocoon.
Assuming I don't have any job points what would I drop? I literally just started Blu today.
Asura.Failaras said: » Assuming I don't have any job points what would I drop? I literally just started Blu today. I'd probably drop DW4(Mortal Ray and Animating wail) though that is only 9 points so you wouldn't be able to set magic fruit. I'm not sure if that'd be the absolute best swap-out for pure DPS at 60 points or not but you kinda have to give up some stuff even when you have 70. I really hate not having a cure and winds but I often have to drop the utility when I need to go pure damage. Other alternatives would be sweeping gouge(if you aren't casting it on the mobs you're fighting for the def you may as well not set it) and Nat. Meditation which also requires casting once every 1:30 though it also gives acc bonus so keep that in consideration. Siren.Kyte

Don't remove Nature's Meditation unless it's going to get dispelled a lot or something.
I would consider removing Sinker Drill first if you have little reason to cast it. If you're not really using the utility spells that are equiped with those extra 3 points, then they would be the next to go. If you are, then DW4 would go next. Sweeping Gouge could be substituted for Frightful Roar as well to conserve some points while keeping most of the benefit. If you don't think it'll land, you can remove it completely. unless your fighting undead or the like i dont really worry about setting magic fruit. assuming of coarse you have a pretty good sanguien blade set. a good set should be able to cure you for more hp than you have max.

what do you guys have for the current sanquine blade formula?
maxdecphoenix said: » what do you guys have for the current sanquine blade formula? Was it changed at some point? Afaik, the base formula for magical WSs is this; Base damage = (Level+2+WSC) * fTP + fINT The difference with SB is that it uses dINT*2 in place of fINT (=8 + dINT/2) Another new Blu question: What fast cast legs are people using currently? It looks like Teal+1 should beat Enif if you are in the first/second unity. Would the current order be Teal+1 10% > Enif 8% > 5% options like Orvail? What other FC gear has been added since that set was updated? Given that the Avatar quick magic ring hasn't been put in I assume it's quite a bit oudated (Or doesn't want quick magic for non GS users).
