Lose those ring and use the +8macc and +6 macc ones (since MAB doesn't help), same with the ears (use lifestorm and psystorm).

3500+ seems like a lie unless atma or special buffs. Around 2k should be avg with mdmg/matk weapons like clubs.

If I had to take a wild guess, it's probably the same as +MDMG (so before MAB is applied).
3500 isn't possible. 2400-2500 sure, but you need to DW clubs and have perfect hagondes augments. I hit around 2200-2300 with Eminent Wand+GaboraxeaR15 and suboptimal Hagondes augments, so much room for improvement, but not over 1000dmg worth.
Burst Affinity JPs are just magic damage+. Not really worth grinding for them specifically, I'd hold on to your JPs until the next set and see what they add with those. Offline

Quote: Was playing around with Subduction in SSR2 today and couldn't get it to hit for more than 1400~ with full unlocks, this was on any mob. Not sure if I am doing it wrong but where are people getting these 3500~ numbers? Are you dual wielding 2x Gabaxorea with +10 MAB augments? That's +248 mdmg and +52 MAB. Also Memento Mori is +20 MAB. Well there's why. People who are hitting high damage with subduction are using dual wield club builds.
How do the NQ version rings (stat+8) fare against our old versions? And do they beat Archon ring and such for Sanguine?
Quote: Not sure if I am doing it wrong but where are people getting these 3500~ numbers I don't have perfect augments (btw 19-25 on each) and with dual clubs ill get around 3200ish on pugils in Mar.Ravine. The frogs take about 2200ish because of either MDB or MDT-. I would say 3500 is certainly possible with perfect augments on lower lvl mobs in salvage (as DINT doesn't cap on it to my knowledge). My guess would be those pugils have more INT than salvage mobs. Offline

Which salvage mobs btw? I think gears take less magic damage i think, or maybe thats just dark damage? My sanguines do less to em.

Req is useful for very few things these days. Can put it down to 1/5 and be fine. Even in situations where Requiescat would outshine CDC for pure damage, Realmrazer is even better, relegating it to areas where you have loads of buffs and thus your ratio is high enough for Req to outpace CDC but not enough accuracy to cap with lower club skill, or on targets with physical/slashing/blunt resistance/immunity. Get CDC ASAP
Rules for WS (IMO)
1. Does it take full damage (or more) from dark? (assuming correct set): Sanguine Blade 2. Is it weak to Blunt: Realmrazer 3. Does it have a special defense (-PDT): Requiescat 4. Does it have a special weakness to light damage (Acutex or T2 KD delve): Flash nova. 5. Is it something different than the above listed scenarios? CDC Cerberus.Doctorugh said: » Rules for WS (IMO) 1. CDC I've yet to see Sanguine even spike as high as CDC averages on neutral mobs. Granted, only one piece of my Hagondes has max aug's, but it would have to take at least +50% dark dmg to justify Sanguine if you're not getting absolutely wrecked or have a healer of any sort. Sanguine actually hurts good healers on fights like Wopket

Best clubs for BLU atm are Gabaxorea (delve 119 from kamihr 4-5 KI) and eminent wand (sparks). There's also Bolelabunga (Wopket drop) but it has same delay as Gabaxorea with 12 less damage and no additional melee DD stats.
Gabaxoreas have low base damage (112) and no damage+ paths but they do have INT+/MAB+/MP+ for nuking MND+/macc+/MP+ for macc (and WS mod!) and DEX+/acc+/pdt- for acc (2x acc/dex gabaxoreas make up for most of the skill difference) Eminent has much great base damage (134) but a lot lower acc so I can't really recommend it unless you can't get Gabaxoreas. Clubs are definitely the way to go when nuking due to getting higher macc than swords (club 119 has 215 macc skill vs. non-empy/mythic swords getting 188) and all the mage goodies. As for WS sets for club, basically just use your sanguine blade sets for flash nova and requiescat sets for realmrazer. Flash Nova is almost the same as sanguine blade (STR50% MND50% vs. STR30% MND50% with dINT for both) and realmrazer and requiescat have same mods with slight differences (realmrazer is 8-hit with dual wield so no need for multi-attack gear and it has a small acc penalty vs. a large att penalty). Realmrazer also has a pretty bad SC property for BLU. Fusion element only makes light with Heavy Strike, Glutinous Dart and Tourbillion, as far as high level spells go, and only makes Gravitation with Amorphic Spikes and Paralyzing Triad. Edit: For subduction if you still want to use dual swords, Anahera Saber! Also, realmrazer uses different elemental gorget/belt than requiescat (light/flame instead of soil/shadow) Odin.Jassik said: » Cerberus.Doctorugh said: » Rules for WS (IMO) 1. In addition to the ones mentioned, there's also the Homestead Wand, which is another low damage/low delay club (111DMG 216 delay). It's also i117, like Eminent, so relative to Gabaxorea it's got less +skill. Still, it's readily accessible for those of us that don't have access to much Delve stuff. Cerberus.Mirlikovir

What would be the set for sanguine to spike at 6k?
I was doing 5.5k to Matamata in Morimar, but that doesn't count because of weaknesses, but its the only time I`ve seen it spike above 4k.
Are Matamata weak to dark? or is it magic damage they're weak to?
Think its just magic in general, I know ice decimates them though.

Matamata are just weak to magic in general and are fun to magic hammer(they have MP, pretty sure PLD job?)
Anyone have any success landing spells on ilvl 119+ content, if so, what do your macc sets look like? I know you can stick some debuffs like frightful roar, but not much else. |
