Where the hell have I been?...
I really feel like i've missed alot of enjoyment in this game after playing for 5 years and then watching that and realizing 90% of things in that video I have never even heard about much less seen it. Bummer D:

Funny thing is, I'd almost guarantee that you HAVE seen at least 90% of that stuff. This video just goes to show how much detail SE have actually put into this game to make things more interesting, realistic and really quite beautiful in some cases. This video, more than most things, is why I'm pretty damn sure that FFXIV will be a very tasty game indeed, especially as far as immersion goes. If all of the stuff you just saw is possible in a 7 year old game on a 10 (no idea) year old system, then FFXIV will have some very nice surprises in store for us.

I really love how this guy has captured so much stuff that we all sort of take for granted, he's made a really beautiful movie out of ***we all walk past every day without looking at. Having said that, the amount of time and effort he put into it is astounding. From the very opening scene, planting all those seeds at the right times to get them to open up in order is crazy. Getting not 1, but 3 or 4 separate shots of the dragon flying over the lake in Lufaise, the Volcano in Ifrit's Cauldron, and the spring in Ro'Maeve on every day of the week!? If you've ever seen any of these things once you'll start to understand just how much time this guy really put in.
