Demon's Souls Servers Shutting Down May 31

Well as soon as you see there's no 4 player co-op, it immediately drops down the chart. But it does still look enjoyable. Think I'll pick this it up with Dark Souls, both of those should feel the hole that was Demon's souls.

Dark Souls is incredible. can't wait for PC version =)

Kinda want to get Demons Souls just to see what the differences were between it and Dark Souls. Other than story, of course.

And it's bound to be nearly if not as fun as Dark Souls was/is.

reading someones post saying that it is a hard games makes me more then any thing want to play it. btw rag where did u get that avatar pic i really like it.

I'm only looking forward to it provided they release the extra content as DLC for 360/PS3 players. Otherwise it's a completely *** move towards older fans of the series.

On another note, how many of you are fairly active competitive-ish PvPers (Darkroot/Kiln areas) in Dark Souls? It'd be cool to set up Red Sign Soapstone matches against people from here.

RIP Demon Soul's was my all time fav game spent years on it till Dark soul's replaced it :Q

the 1st time I played Dark Souls was the most aggravating experience of my life. I died countless times. and the game felt nearly impossible. I remember my 1st experience with a "Dark Knight" was terrifying. lol Its an awesome game and definitely worth giving a shot. It is not for the faint of heart.

Definitely get it. The enemy AI is worse and there are far less weapons but it's a great game. Darker than Dark Souls in tone I'd say (Tower of Latria and Valley of Defilement are brrrrrr).

From a melee perspective, I would say meleeing is easier in Dark Souls than Demon's Souls (and Shields are stronger I find) but mechanically there isn't a massive difference.

My lasting impressions from my first playthrough of Dark Souls were

1. screw Blighttown
2. screw Lost Izilith
3. screw Bed of Chaos

Sounds great. I'll definitely add it to my massive list of games I need to get once I get a job.

And melee or GTFO.

I played it at a friends house not too long ago, I suck, but I was enjoying it. I'm waiting for the PC release though, my xbox is about to die and I'd rather invest in a good desktop at this point in my life :/
