Hey i'm sorry if someone has already asked this, i've looked around and couldn't find anything. What do you guys think is "optimal" for dynamis farming (solo). Since everyone's going to be /dnc i assume the sets are going to be extremely similar. Any suggestions?

I think Attack Bonus would be better than Accuracy Bonus considering you're probably fighting DC mobs, plus Frenetic and Vanity Dive are probably too costly to be practical.
Auto Refresh? Actinic Burst and Winds of Promy. are both very useful, or charge spikes or w/e it's called for the stat bonuses if you don't want actinic or winds. Any refresh is invaluable in Dyna.
I'm not sold on DWIII, since /DNC gets DWII. I take Dream Flower because links are inevitable and it takes too much MP/TP to keep your HP up rather than just sleep them all.

I haven't done Dyna on BLU yet but I think you should be good with those spells.

I tend to shy away from setting TA in situations where I'm working with a utility setup and just set DA trait in the interest of conserving set points. Shouldn't set Acc Bonus regardless of hitrate given that /DNC offers the trait natively.

Thanks for responses, ACC bonus was just thrown in there with little to no thought. Had extra points :P Yea auto refresh is very helpful, I'll try and ditch the DWIII and see what I can come up with, maybe throw in a sleep.

I use BLU to solo dyna aswell, since solo and lolelvaanMP, throwing in MP drainkiss was nice, I also like a sleep spell. Other than that, pretty much the same
You should get acc bonus on dnc sub. You could drop 2 triple attack spells for double attack, then switch in auto-refresh spells (Winds of Promy., Actinic Burst). Equip Dream Flower for links (I run in qufim alot, lots of sound-links.) Heavy Strike is a nice tool and deals a lot of damage if geared correctly, so is Delta Thrust. Both are great for mp management.
Recently today, me and a whm friend pulled 350 pieces of currency with blu/dnc and whm/dnc. I have ThII with trait and TH sash. Blu can do pretty well in there if done right. Good luck on your dynamis farming.

Thanks for the tips guys, yea Heavy Strike is by far the best. Low mp and deals a nice chunk.
While we're at it: What's the opinion on DA Khadga for stuff like this (dropping /war and fighting EP stuff)?
I'd think you won't need the STR sword all too much.

There isn't a single multiattack sword that's worth making or wearing in any possible situation. That includes DA sword. EVA or STR sword only, you still need the STR sword for fighting Dynamis mobs as BLU's attack is horrendous.

EP demons/fomor do for certain, I'm not too sure on nightmare mobs but theirs doesn't seem to be very high for not crabs etc.
All dynamis monsters save maybe a few types of beastmen have DEF higher than you will be capping on BLU/DNC.

It's one extra point that has no use otherwise. Sanguine Blade's utility more than pays for it.

You can 1 shot them with Efflux QC for a much lower MP cost.
And unless you're doing 1.2k? Sanguine Blades I'd think using TP on Waltz III would be better, depending on the situation.
Though, it's only 1 set point since you'll probably already have Dream Flower so I guess it's more like "idk what to even do with this"

The thought behind it was "nuking from a distance" with convergence (when TEs are camped by mobs and you don't wanna waste time waiting).
1.2k isn't hard to accomplish, especially in Dynamis where you always have dark weather.
QC is too expensive for TE too. Efflux or CA + Heavy Strike one shots them, and on the off chance that it doesn't Delta Thrust will finish them off.

When I get the urge to play XI again, I'll try out BLU/DNC in Dyna for myself. Looks potentially more profitable than DNC/THF or DNC/00 for whites.
can magic hammer be any good? not really played with,maybe nice though if can gear it to do good so can get MP back on anything
Since it's not mentioned, benthic typhoon is nice for dynamis. I usually alternate between delta thrust, heavy strike, and benthic.

Only mobs that have MP and aren't undead. I'd rather use MP drainkiss in Dynamis.
