Kinda lame, but you play FFXI, I'd like to think that thats not an issue
Not incredibly worried about it. I've been playing everything else through Steam and Origin (other than XI) and haven't had any issues. And if I do, it'll be Comcast's fault, not theirs, most likely.

ah read up on it, apparently you can have an offline character but it can never go online, that's semi-acceptable.

They were only concerned with Money Farmers trying to control the markets, but they finally have it laid down, that if you want to see in game gold, they will ask you for a fee to do so.. so to lose money you have to pay money...

That's the way D2 was as well. You couldn't use your single-player characters on Battle.net. Or that's how I remember it...maybe people got around it somehow. I don't know.
Now that we have an official release date... push it back 3 years and you'll have a true release date.

hmm, which is humorous because I pirated him a copy of diablo 2 a few months back because he lost his disc.
dunno, never played it, don't plan to at the moment, although it did look interesting.
Maybe now he'll get a job so he can afford for us to build him a new pc so he can play it.

Okay, I hate to ask this question, but I remember seeing that picture of the "What I expected, what I received" picture regarding Diablo 3 and depicted unicorns under the received category. So what is it specifically that warranted something like that when it has yet to be released? Did someone get a sneak peek into the available content? Or are they just mad about streamlined RMT?
It was just people being butthurt about the upgraded graphics being too colorful, and they deemed it cartoony.

Yeah with Diablo III and Tera coming out, my LS is going to be completely dead. lol
If you had been paying attention to the D3 news the past few months i highly doubt they would push the release date back once they have already announced it. Took out PVP just to get it out lol. Yeayea this is blizzard were talking about etc etc. I can only imagine how many people D3 will take away from the entire gaming community.
