Not that I disagree with Mandau > Twashtar, but how does Rudra's need 300 TP to be efficient and how does Mercy have better mods? DEX is more readily available on the majority of THF gear.

because rudra gets beat by exent in most situations. And the other situations, evisceration wins.

I don't own a Twashtar myself yet, but I would imagine it's worthwhile taking the damage loss for sake of maintaining aftermath? Is Mercy Stroke stronger than the other two all of the time (I haven't mathed this out yet)?

It's only good to SC with rly. Like say your doing duo dyna with another friend. Rudra anyway.

Admittedly my APM isn't high enough to handle Ravens and Ghosts at the same time.

Might want to check out how much STR gear THF gets. They get *a lot*.

Only worth it in VW really. I have twash, and it's not all that great. It opens up some cool SC's, but it's not really that great. Mandau seems excellent for thf's over rudra(and yes i have mandau friends). Similar gear.

On LV0 enemies, Mercy Stroke, using a lv99 Mandau, does about the same damage as a 200%TP Rudra's Storm, using a lv99 Twashtar.

Other than missing 1str on my augmented heca feet+1, my gear is perfect for both WSs.

I believe they were talking about Mercy, for which this fact is well known. Base damage from DEX/AGI with SA/TA is added outside fTP (and is obviously only applied to the first hit), so Mercy's 60% STR mod is about twice as powerful as 1 point of DEX before considering gains in attack or fSTR.

I think my favorite part about Etoilemourante's post is the placement of the exclamation point.

Was busy for give more explain and my english low..

but Mandau wins sure , i dont use more Twashtar cause this...

If ppl can choice , choice relic ! if cant raise relic, Empyrean stay decent and occassionalely make nice WS but never constant and only Stacked. Its good to post Twashar WS screenshot 10K... its happens all 1000 WS... Mandau constant DMG and triple dmg proc alot.

At level 85-90 both was close, but at level 95-99 Mandau wins only for all.

Main THF for 8 year.

This is true of SAMercy. Not true of SA-anything else.

yes with both aftermath, Mandau wins only and not close... diff are big. Twashtar say good for DNC.

A quick question I have 2 Eva daggers r8 now nd working on double atk+11 dagger
How good r those two dagger sets also maybe maybe if I mange to lvl my whm mule i'll work on the cake cutter

Also the reason I got 2 Eva daggers is that I only use thief for solo nd sometimes duo. So not for group fight
Again how good is the double atk dagger for off hand outside abbysea
