Glavoid

Hi BST's, having searched through the forums carefully I can't find any info on BST soloing Glavoid or at least tanking him for the rest of my party. Is it possible on BST maybe with Earth Worm Atma ? We are in the process of getting shells for one of my THF friends and just wondered if anyone had tried it ?

Why would you need to stun disgorge if you're tanking it on BST? It's mitigated by PDT so pets should take almost no damage from it.

Pretty easy solo for BST at lv95 w/ Dipperyuly, even easier with the Adamantoise--just switch to dipper at low %, or have a THF.

Strategy:
Atma: Razed Ruins, Ducal Guard, Future Fabelous.

Try keep your pet under the effect of Ducal Guard, just gimp your reward set (remove +% pieces, or use a weaker food)

Heel your pet as soon as you see a TP move, pets high base dmg and crit spam healing him really does add up, and since your virtually solo? you don't wanna prolong the fight any longer than the length it alreadty is. He'll rage after 60mins? I think, I know he does rage though.

As for gear, I was using two PDT- axes, and switching in two Evasion ones during Glavoid's Blood Weapon to minimize draining. Anwig Salade with Pet: Damage Taken-10%, Selemnus Belt (Pet:MDT-3%) and shephards chain (Pet: DT-2%)

His nukes were never doing over 500, thx to ducal guard and future fabelous, and Disgorge frequently did exaxtly 983 damage, with a random rare 2k, not sure what causes that.

Raphie is weak to earth damage. why use him for this??

Go check for yourself. I've tested this one. He was taking greater damage from earth. less from lightning.

I would have expected him to be strong to earth myself, but I was disappointed.
