The more exp a monster grants you in a signet area when you have signet on, the more impact you will have on a zone's allegiance.

When I was on Odin a few years back, population was low enough that I could merit on Abraxas while restricting LP character to 75 to solo take Tavnazian Archipelago for Bastok. Usually I'd shift the bar by about 1/3rd over the course of a week, getting like 2k exp per kill on 2hrs or so of exp per night or something like that.

Kills without exp still count, but they're minimum influence.

Something you can compare it to, is the Outpost Trades that also affect zone allegiance. If you trade low level gear, like stone arrows, then it's minimal impact. If you trade high level gear, like kabura arrows, and trade them in bulk, you get more points.

It takes quite a lot either way to actually swing a zone.

Was Maletaru's hypothesys on the HQ* on new limbus gear confirmed or debunked?
He initially made an hypothesis where +2 comes from HQ3 instead of HQ2.

The null masque isn’t just the NA translation broken (yeah I know not a breaking news), the gear itself is broken.

Using checkparam <me> you can clearly see haste and DT doesn’t work.

It might be the second page of the gear, or just the bottom couple lines, just can’t tell as I don’t have clearly access to that but yeah at least those 2 stats

It comes from both HQ2 and HQ3. He wasn't meeting the subcraft requirement to be eligible for HQ2 on most of his synths, so he saw only HQ1s on those synths and interpreted it incorrectly.

Most of the gear will be relatively cheap now that the cat's out of the bag on that. HQ rates don't seem notably different from SU5 to me, and cost per synth is lower on many of them. The ones that use nio/ruth ingots are still gonna cost a pretty penny, especially ignorance and wrath bodies since they also use cores.

native checkparam only lists ilvl, prim acc/atk, aux acc/atk, racc/ratk, eva, def.

Unless you mean the checkparam addon, which I presume reads information from the dat files (or windower resources). If the information on the null masque is wrong in the dats, then checkparam will report based on said incorrect information.

You could have stripped all equipment and checked your stats with and without masque and notice a change in your attributes, acc, def, HP, MP.

But if you were still not convinced that the haste on it is working fine, you could have done the simple reraise test:
cast reraise naked: 60 second recast
cast reraise with masque: 52 second recast

If you want to test DT, you can do the easy 1000 needles test, but I'm not doing that, because the stats on masque are working fine server side.

Its at the start of the video. There was a bug where, from certain angles, you could target "NPC" instead of the vortex.

SE fixed it one or 2 patches ago.

There's a bug of some sort, that those porters are labeled "NPC" instead of the actual name and not interactable until it reverts to proper name, it's happened since the revision of limbus nothing new. No idea what they are trying to trade it for tho.

Lots and lots and lots of murder. Go on a job like BLU that can cleave endlessly.

Note that some zones take a lot more murder to move the bar than others. Movalpolos took me nearly 2 days of killing to move the bar enough that beastmen wouldn't control it. And yes, you 100% do not need to gain exp to move the meter. As far as I can tell the bar doesn't update very often.

Oh and, whatever you do, don't die. Death seems to be the primary (only?) way beastmen gain influence and they will gain a LOT depending on the zone. Unfortunately that applies to other players... it is unknown to me if players not having signet or not effects the influence moving on death.

I didn't actually check in limbus, but for quite a few animated structures (pincerstones in sky are an obvious example) the server uses an untargetable entity named NPC exactly on top of the pincerstone to show the animation. I'd guess the swirling vortex is the (supposed to be) untargetable entity and has no interaction handler. They probably forgot to mark it untargetable and since it's the exact same position as the one you interact with, if you target it before the real one you can't tab to the correct one.

A short addon could fix the flag so it's untargetable again, which would fix the issue from a user perspective.

Oh interesting. I never did sky that much to encounter that before. Sounds like SE fixed it, I don't recall the last time I saw it happen. I checked that video is from 3 months ago, so it lines up.

It was never shown drawable in sky (or any of the other places it's used), so it wouldn't be noticable to anyone who hasn't explored memory or packets.

Needs more information.

You mean while skilling up? While catching the fish for the ebisu? What's your target fish? What's your goal?

For skilling up: Pelican Ringx2, absolutely no questions asked.
For Lik/Gugrusaurus? Penguin/Albatross as needed. If you can get by without then:
Noddy to avoid enemies (if they spawn in your fishing spot)
Puffin to target large fish (if you're after one, and other non-large fish bite your bait)

It's really much too complicated a question to answer with such limited information.

While working towards ebisu best rods are obviously lu's and lu's +1. Fishing stall for mega moglification. Fishing gear is tlahtlamah glasses, fisherman's apron/smock, waders, fisherman's/angler's hose and gloves. If going after legendary fish, can swap gloves for kachina gloves. Waist is fisher's rope, though you can use the belt for skill support before fishing.

Rings completely depend on what you are doing as noted by Maletaru. Duck ring, penguin ring, and albatross ring can help you with legendary fish. Pelican rings can stack for some reason and should be used alongside fisherman's feast food and the baby eft cheer for skill ups. Noddy reduces monsters wasting your time in outdoor zones but you don't use it for city fishing obviously. Puffin ostensibly when going after non stackable fish specifically. Seabird's when going for low level fish after you've skilled up to high skill levels. Heron and Seagull rings are basically default rings if not using any of the enchantments or targeting anything in specific.

Sorry i should have been more clear. I am 110 and about to get Lu +1, I fished all the fish except for pages 10 and 11 from the fish NPC. I am working on guild points now to get the mooching KI(last KI needed) still need the guild items like the stall and gear.

So i suppose was mainly wondering about the ring combo when trying to fish legendary and ebisu items. Thanks.

EDIT: I do have a follow up question, if you lose the Lu +1 is it just gone or can the NPC give you a new one? I mainly ask because if on ferry and it breaks trying to fix might risk a lose if ferry zones. Least in my mind it would. Thanks.

I was all about Penguin+Albatross for high-end fish. Their bite rate was high enough that I didn't feel like I needed either Noddy or Puffin, and it felt substantially better (subjectively) to have both the added time and the added stamina drain.

If you feel differently, I'd say drop the Albatross first. Double time is nice, but Penguin's stamina drain was suuuuuper noticeable to me and felt like it made them "catchable vs. uncatchable" rather than "catchable but in twice the time", if that makes sense?

Why would you think its anything other than just killing the highest level mobs you can one shot

Your level is irrelevant to their exp gain. So long as the mob is 6 levels higher than the fellow they get max. Like book to garbage shitadel and cast 10 subductions.

Ok yes I just found that, it was more about understanding this party

The amount of experience points gained by an Adventuring Fellow is calculated independently from player characters. An Adventuring Fellow will gain experience off of a mob based on his/her level computed solo against the mob.

I didnt know if it had to con to me or the fellow. Anyone got any nice AOE spots, figured ill just go on BLU

You get the Adventuring points currency based on the actual XP the player gets, so it's worth going out and killing a charge of Locus monsters with your fellow at some point. It lets you get enough points to buy everything.

I used the crabs in Rala Waterways, which were probably not maximally efficient. They do have an aoe, but they don't have enough TP to hit you with it if you're dodging everything and they sound aggro so it's easy to pull them all.

After my Fellow hit ~60, I switched to the Gustav Tunnel basement mobs (the little adamantoises and very large worms) that are like level 102ish, because I also needed to do WS trials and things like that and I got to double-dip. There is aoe there (Stonegas from the worms but only conals from the turtles) but it wasn't common enough to cause trouble. But I only switched because I was doing other stuff. Rala's better by a mile thanks to sheer density.

Everyone overlooks garliage. That place has density. and they link. and no AoE. (bombs, but theyre not going to get tp)

Easily 10x better than rala and they're 99-101ish too

(it could be equal to CN_S if they made that an apex camp in GC_S)

I honestly, genuinely, had no idea until right now there were high level bombs in Garlaige at all. And they're apparently named Kaboom? This keeps getting better. (Also, they're level 91-96 so not great for the final stretch?)

You know that minuet covers ranged damage, too, no? Less relevant when you add a geo and geo goes in -everything-

can't go wrong with a second cor instead of a bard if the geo is slot 5. more roll is more gooder.

BRD with minuet songs more value over RDM? How easy/hard is it to reach attack cap with ranged damage?
