I've done A LOT of shinryu/selbina htbf VD, and I've just not remembered getting chapters in the pool. I don't believe the newer fights ever guaranteed one outside of the ordinary drops. Even doing shinryu VD as early as this week, have done over 20 runs and I've never seen a chapter in the pool, just materials.

could you guys by chance have treasury set up to auto-pass/drop chapters at this point? I know lilith definitely drops chapters into the pool. I haven't done the others recently enough to be sure about them.
It would still register as a drop.
I’ve done a lot of VE, E, N fights against Lilith, Cait Sith, Odin and there are definitely guaranteed Rem’s, 1 on VE, 2 on E, 3 on N. Weird not seeing on D.
Is there a command to debazaar with a lua
Easy to set 80 items, annoying as *** to take them down. Offline

But if an hour passes and/or I say *** it, I have to manually take them down to drop them. It'd be nice if I could 0/null/off/drop without having to go in the bazaar and null them manually. Even 1g is overpriced, I can't argue that.
(and they don't sell, thats why i want a command to take the bazaar price off) Offline

Oh yeah, I had an actual question...
Does anyone know what determines which zone you exit to when leaving Reisenjima? It should be whatever entrance you arrived through. If you use a Dem ring and enter the Dem portal, you will return through Dem.

Earlier today I teleported(spell) DEM and entered. Got spit out in Tahrongi. Scratched my head. Teleported to HOLLA and entered from KH. Same result. Spooky. *edit Tried with rings, again same result. Leviathan.Horadrius said: » It should be whatever entrance you arrived through. Exiting from Reisenjima puts you at the crag zone of your home nation. I could be wrong Offline

Only ever zoned out with warp or teleporting to refresh Was there a trick to making your pulse weapons glow while idle or is that just old junk from FFXIV coming back?
Cerberus.Echohawk said: » Ive been using /targetnpc to have my alts target the teleports on Odyssey and Sortie then manually interacting with each character. Is there a better way to go about this? If I could send a brief script to the 4 characters, I feel like I'd save some good time. Even if I had to do a new script/ macro for each specific movement that'd be fine. Someone said "packets" and I have neither the skills to do it myself nor the naivety to ask someone else to do it. Is there a macro-able or scriptable (//exec script) way for me to have all alt's do: Enter key up arrow enter key Would be super rad for when Kupipi or some other TVR NPC wants to cockblock enternity by talking about White Rolanberry for 20 min. Are we 100% sure the final cap for Phalanx is 500 Enha skill?
I'm not saying the reduction could go beyond -35. I'm more wondering: are we sure it's exactely 500 and not 501? Offline

while viewing inventory, occasionally my game stops auto sort on the left window when there are stackable items, but once I move them to the right window it auto sorts just fine. any fix without relogging? I tried reloading lightluggage and toggling the auto sort option in the config menu.

A 502 skill phalanx can be overwritten by a 500 phalanx. This shows that there is not a potency increase at 501 or 502. On the other hand, a 499 skill phalanx was unable to overwrite a 500 skill phalanx. Showing a potency increase at exactly 500 skill. The sort button in the inventory menu is only for the right inventory, regardless of which bag it is[if using switch button it can be other bags]. I'll try to actually replicate the test myself for further confirmation but it sounds like a very solid testing method I didn't think of. Exactly what I was looking for, thanks Martel! Offline

Before I toss my spares, do Analysis crystals serve any purpose outside of the Escutcheon process?

On the other hand, a 499 skill phalanx was unable to overwrite a 500 skill phalanx. Showing a potency increase at exactly 500 skill. I cast Phalanx with different Enha skill sets in my midcast. #1: 500 > 510 > 499 #2: 499 > 500 > 499 On test #1 the 510 skill could easily overwrite the 500 one (same potency tier, within the same tier Phalanx overwrite itself just fine) but of course the 499 skill one gave "no effect" On test #2 I successfully cast Phalanx with 499 skill, then succesfully overwrote with 500, then got "no effect" from 499 again. This was useless I guess but still I'm happy to confirm 110% that you need exactly 500 to reach the final tier and not a single skill more. Thanks Martel for the useful insight! Just outta curiosity, has anyone confirmed the 500 cap? The posts on the BG thread are from 2011 and seemed to be theorycrafts of how to hit 529 skill to hit the next tier, but it doesnt seem to suggest that it was actually done.

You can make the craft kits and restock NPCs so others can skill up easier Pantafernando said: » You can make the craft kits and restock NPCs so others can skill up easier You know you're rich when you're blowing gil on crafting kits for skillups, damn. There are a few crafts with shitty points where its cost effective.
Some range of skill ups are really bad to do. I think goldsmithing was one where I could craft for points and leave the boxes to mules to cap gold sub.
I've never come across a scenario where a set was cheaper than another readily available recipe. Especially not at pre-subcraft levels, not even close.
I guess if you're lazy and have a lot of gil go for it, I'm way too cheap to be spending that kinda gil for minor convenience, especially at hundreds of synths to level up |
