Quick look:

Either Chango or Ukon and abandon Calad since doing Helheim. Could do Calad for complete coverage in low buff situations or if its going to take you a really long time for prime.

Abandon Farsha and Redemption because gil better spent elsewhere on new jobs and don't really add anything novel from what you have.

Look into Dolichenus axe(ambuscade) and Loxotic Mace +1 blunt (unity) if there's not better options. Assume that you have Naegling.

Malevolence might be good for aoe weaponskill.

I wouldn't bother with Calad if you have stage 3/4 prime gsword. Unless for some reason you need light, I don't know. You can avoid sc using Reso.

Would you say having a scythe 3 gsword and stage 3 scythe would be better to do before focusing on a stage 4 gsword Taint?

I’d focus on one and get it to stage 4. It opens up the rest of the game.

In sortie I used Liberator on A/E, impact a mob on the way up to start with AM3.

I use Cala on CD/GH and prime on B/F and Naaks.

I was planning on doing stage 4 even if it takes me a bit. When I've done A boss with trusts + 3k TP AM from Helheim; Fimb does like 75k at max and Torc does low 50s. My Nyame is R15. Does Calad make up some of that difference?

I know every boss past A/E is a different beast as far as stats go. Is the preference on Calad for CD/GH because Torc is bottom heavy and you're trying to put them out fast vs waiting till high tp, or is it a different consideration?

I'd like to think that they're taking the time to think about player reaction to vanabout before throwing out another crappy one, I had initially assumed it would be a monthly thing. But, was it actually said anywhere that it'd be monthly or frequent? Could be it's going to be a quarterly or biannual event like many others.

Why is biannual twice a year, biweekly every two weeks, but bimonthly can refer to either?

I've only ever heard bi(time) used to refer to twice per time.

Do you get the gallimaufry if you beat a Sortie boss (in a gadget room) unclaimed? I beat Dhartok the other day with a helix, but it was unclaimed at the time. Didn't get a message or anything.

No claim, no loot. I think the only exceptions would be personal loot like HTMB, but that's about it.

Nope, happened to us a couple of times.
If the monster dies to a DoT unclaimed, you get no reward AND no galli. (and no message either, of course)

Give the conquest npc a shitfuckton of gear, but yeah, kill a trillion mobs. No expedition force, nor garrisons for moval.

Moval is so god damn irritating, literally never in control and can't ever buy the coral fungus

So you can't have 100% uptime on boosted spells.

If they didn't despawn you could have 100% uptime ecliptic/blaze to do your whole popset

It's not a great reason but it's a reasonable reason.
