Nearing the end of my completion of Abyssea. I'm seeing videos of people getting twilight drops on Shinryu with no proc. Does TH help with this or something?

Yes Its more time efficient doing blue proc + th. You can eventually get any drop without it but the chance is lower. Offline

I've been debating which job to fight Shinryu on. RUN is my most geared but no TH and limited access to proc stuff. So either WAR or THF.
Once I get the torque, I'll go back on BLU for... you know... Offline

Wouldn't it be cool if you could get a Pandemonium Warden chair mount?
They added that already

Serious? I can't find info.
Mattelot said: » Serious? I can't find info. It's called Spectral Chair Event to get one starts in a week or so, which was announced today, with a screenshot of the chair no less. http://www.playonline.com/pcd/topics/ff11us/detail/17377/detail.html
IS there some reliable data on "Magic Accuracy Skill" conversion into Magic Accuracy?
I know it's not 1:1, I personally always assumed it to be somewhere around 1:0,5 but I can't find reliable data to support this. Anybody got some additional info on it, please? Offline

Basically going to just have to take SEs word on it since aint nobody got time for that kind of testing nowadays
It's basically their word hinting at roughly 2:1 rate, or that JP blog that hints at something close to 1:1 (at least for elemental magic, who knows for enfeebling though).
No clue who to believe now. Wouldn't be the first time SE accidentally gives us wrong info, even if that table looked pretty solid. Offline

Old question but do anyone know whos the PH of Stinking Sophie (Beestinger NM)? Thanks in advance Pantafernando said: » Hi. Old question but do anyone know whos the PH of Stinking Sophie (Beestinger NM)? Thanks in advance Stinging Sophie is lottery spawn off of Maneating Hornet at (I-6) - (J-7) on the second or third level of Zegham Hill. A few old posts I found from googling this allege that there can be two Stinging Sophies up at a time. Might as well kill all Maneating Hornets in that area. I was not able to find the actual id for the PH. Pantafernando said: » Hi. Old question but do anyone know whos the PH of Stinking Sophie (Beestinger NM)? Thanks in advance After some researching i think the PH should be the last bee from the first 5 bees group. Using RNG widescan you see: Random mobs 3x bees Random mobs 4x bees Random mobs 4x bees Random mobs 3x bees Random mobs 2x bees Random mobs 2x bees Random mobs 1. Bee (17211532) 2. Bee (17211533) 3. Bee (17211534) 4. Bee (17211535) 5. Bee (17211536) <--- This is the PH Random mobs 1. Bee (17211556) 2. Bee (17211557) 3. Bee (17211558) 4. Bee (17211559) 5. Bee (17211560) Stinging Sophie <---- Will be right below the last bee of the second 5 bees group Random bee: (17211561) <--- Maybe this is the second PH? Its not always up Stinging Sophie can pop back to back (popped to me right after i killed the first one, without killing anything else. Probably it can be its own PH?). I supose there are 2 PHs so that would explain it poping back to back Since I never tried it, how does Alexander, the new HTBF, works for soloers? No multiboxing.
Can you solo VE? E? N? Which jobs, which strategy etc? Any tip much apreciated. Pretty sure just any job which can do damage without applying Debuffs/skillchains is fine.
No trusts for dia or nothing. Edit: For difficulty, I've heard of few people soloing N, but takes too long to solo D, so probably not time efficient. Offline

Been a while since I did that on THF on Easy (I think). Whm x2, Joachim, Koru, Qultada. Evisceration over and over. Qultada positioned behind Alexander so his hits do 0.
In my experience, Gospel of the Lost was uncommon on lower difficulties. It would happen from time to time but it was infrequent enough that Dia was worth it. Uhmmm
Is it just Dia that can proc that nasty move, or any debuff? Any debuff I believe.
Debuffs and skillchains make it use Gospel of the Light and heal it. Full dispel is % based I'm sure. I'm about 90% sure, but never been bothered to confirm, but looks that way. More uses the higher the difficulty. |
