Ankusa Gloves for BST... How do these work?
I have 5/5 Beast Affinity merited. If I understand the merited ability right, I get +10 to the summoned level of my pet up to maximum of 109. How do these gloves fit into that?

Ankusa Gloves for BST... How do these work?

Is there anywhere an official FFXI artbook? To download or to buy. Thanks in advance. Datass said: » Ankusa Gloves for BST... How do these work? I have 5/5 Beast Affinity merited. Pet Level for BST is determined by the main hand weapon, and the level cap of the pet itself, there are a plethora of 99+ pets who can reach 119 via BA and multiple pets whose cap is that high naturally. I think the intention is that she's an obstacle, since she aggros and puts up a better fight than the Escalents.
Speaking of Lorissa... What is the point of her in Cirdas? Is she just used to skip a floor you don't like?
Rewards seem to get better the farther in you get and I assume using her to skip the floor would let you net better average rewards but I was always afraid that we'd lose a floor and just hit the end sooner and possibly miss a shot at rewards. Granted, that doesn't much matter generally since you tend to over cap easily even when you don't get a multiple mistmaw floor or a Balamor floor to break the cap on how many you can do. In Rala/Cirdas, she's there for skipping floors, which is nice if you are frustrated with a floor (kill 20 dudes when you can't find any) or your group is being messed up by a NM you don't even want anyway.

Ah, too bad. I was hoping I could abuse it for some better drops. Getting 5 NQ stones out of your pool of 10 can be really depressing. Not sure if this was asked, But anyone know how to kill Lorissa Alluvion Skirmish consistantly? Or is it at all possible?
She can't be killed, just brought to 1% where she warps out.

http://www.famitsu.com/news/201503/13073769.html Beating up Lorissa improves the amount of puissance earned from butterflies. I hadn't been keeping track of how much I was earning from them before and after, but they claim it's doubled, unless Google translate is way off. My brother just spent some time translating their list of maximum values on augments for all Alluvion stuff, I can probably have that posted soon. Is linkshell community broken again? I haven't been able to link my character since I changed server despite having the correct URL in place, I'm not seeing an option to update my character.
Does anyone know if there's anything I've done wrong or had a similar experience to point me in the right direction? Asura.Leoheika said: » Is linkshell community broken again? You can use the guildwork plugin to populate your ffxiah profile, though. Kept seeing elementals go from 100 each to 120 each after I think that increase is due to floor jump and not lorissaa, though im not sure, but as you advance, you will always earn more puisance (otherwise, it would be a hell high floors). That's strange because I use GW plugin but nothing seems to have flipped over, I have the GW token on my profile to scrape the data, but all that seems to be coming over is my equipped gear. Whats better MAB +6 or or Magic crit rate +10%?

100% Magic Crit Rate is 10-40 MAB, so 10% Magic Crit rate is an average of 1-4 MAB. Thus, 6 MAB is always better than 10% Magic Crit Rate. You're looking for /retr mortontony1 said: » Leviathan.Syagin said: » Whats better MAB +6 or or Magic crit rate +10%? Side question; the hell is the macro for releasing trusts without targeting them? /returntrust <pX> X: number from 1 to 5 depending on the trust's place in the party list. p1 for the one right below your name and so on. "/retr" will work in place of "/returntrust", and you can enter "/retr all" to dismiss all of them at once.
