any link to more modern ADL strats? obviously not an alliance tp burn one, more like 6-10 people tops.
Leviathan.Draylo said: » With this campaign going on, anyone know if allt he bcnms drop the same stuff ? Should you just target the one with highest number of mobs? The best one is the Gulk Bird BC in Monarch Linn. That is the only one that drops Hexed -1 items. The others as well as the Gulk Bird BC drop Meteor/Arise. So if your looking to get Arise/Meteor, you should target the BC's with alot of mobs, but for hexed -1, you should just spam the Gulk Bird BC. On split, it's heavy AoE damage + random status effects on everyone, so things that block status effects help a lot. Keep everyone topped off in HP because him and clone can do spells simultaneously doing potentially massive amounts of damage (death). Don't stand on the same side of him, because Tera Slash can inflict death, and better one person than 5. Be mindful of knockback, which he can do quite often. If you kill one and he's still alive, then you need to kill the other before he uses Dynamic Implosion. Dynamic Implosion is a long terror, and he has the potential to chain it together. If he does this, it likely means he's going to split again, and then it's probably a wipe. Stuns are great for stopping a lot of his bad attacks, including Ramuh's Shock Squall since it is long and hits both. Once he splits, you're on a timer to kill him as fast as possible, while hopefully reducing his ability to do anything as much as possible. Keep everybody topped off on HP, be careful of status effects, and zerg. Perfect Defense, Asylum are great tools, and any high damage SP abilities help to burst him down. There's a lot of things that can just suddenly go wrong in this fight, whether it be death, bad status effect combos on everyone (including White Mage(s) getting chain silenced), knockbacks, terror, clone, etc. More DD just means more chance of killing him before Dynamic Implosion or before anything else that can go wrong. DD DD BLU WHM COR BRD Get as many buffs as you can because it likes to dispel buffs (barelement barenfeeble boost etc) Once you pop BLU opens with sudden lunge and keeps it stun locked. Once it hits around 51~55% disengage and face the gate behind you. Have DD assist someone so you guys are targeting the same mob. BLU stuns keeps the mob stunned again and just go to town on him. yeah, gathered a lot of that from previous fights, just that we went with more peeps.
So basically: don't stand on the same side, stun, get a better whm than me. Jetackuu said: » yeah, gathered a lot of that from previous fights, just that we went with more peeps. So basically: don't stand on the same side, stun, get a better whm than me. In my opinion BLU is super key for this. Keeping him stun locked makes it SOOO much easier. He likes to do some *** moves like paralyga, breakga, and that stupid f*cking terror move. edit: PRO: Sudden Lunge can last a long time if it full connects (10seconds?). recast on Sudden Lunge is only a few seconds, and it is super easy to land on ADL. CON: Can't hit both ADLs on split. Jetackuu said: » yeah, gathered a lot of that from previous fights, just that we went with more peeps. The best thing you can do is right before 60%, back off far away enough so that when he splits and does his AoE, you don't get hit by it. Then you're clean of status effects and can run up and heal everyone. Keep everyone topped off, try to cure status ailments, and go for it. Even something like Accession Cure IV might help because it will give Cureskin to everyone to help avoid one shots (well, sudden burst from full to zero, because it's not technically a one shot since the damage combined from both of them is causing it and thus scherzo doesn't help). A GEO might be good on this fight if you can run Vex/Attunement to block all the status effects. Either way, a Wilt would probably do wonders in reducing his damage output. I think you have to be like 30'ish away and that's pretty dangerous cause he can be super random with like elemental spells as well. If he splits and does the knockback/gravity move and the whm gets pushed down the hill, the melee are SOL. edit: I was thinking about swapping COR to GEO haha. Quote: I think you have to be like 30'ish away and that's pretty dangerous cause he can be super random with like elemental spells as well. If he splits and does the knockback/gravity move and the whm gets pushed down the hill, the melee are SOL. When there's only 1 of him (before 60%), I just ran down the hill slightly and waited for him to split. Once he split, I ran back up and started healing. It was about the same time frame to get back into the fight and start healing versus getting knocked back, running back up or getting hit with stuff like silence and having to remove it. It's just a lot safer this way, at least, in my opinion. I do thf mnkx2 (everyone with at least rcb) whm brd smn.
Make sure to use ramuh avatar favor and fully buffs. Kill dl without wsing, so everyone gets 3000tp. Start adl with ws (sc). He should be reaching 50%. If his hp drops too fast, disengage, dont go bellow 50%, and make sure everyone get tp ready for after split. After split, leader choose one, everyone spam /assist leader and attack. Once everyone is engaged, do shock squall, ws and kill first clone. He definitivelly must die before unstunning. The real one you engage and do chaotic strike as soon as you can, tp>ws. Key is to be able to deal at least 40% hp dmg in the stun window. Whming is a joke. Its just a curaga 3 after split, and status debuffs if they land, and some curaga after. I just lose if a status debuff stick on smn and bp doesnt go. Para, sleepga and breakga are the most dangerous, and happen as soon as he split. Make sure to have accession ready and quick in the correct debuff. Personally, i use barpara and blizzard to avoid one of these. Curaga to wake dds and breakga rquires fast stona accession. Normally, i place all dds with back to castle door, and whm with back to the pillar near ramp. The pillar prevent whm long knockdown, as well the dds. Im thinking of coming back but due to token circumstanxes I'd have to start again. Is the game worth coming back to if i have to start from scratch? :3

What other route i can use to get it (excluding yelling in jeuno)? Thanks in advance. It's Help Desk > Help Desk > I want to report a violation of the PlayOnline user agreement. or whatever of the other ones there you need.

Well, its to report a stuff i dont think its working properly, its not to report a person though. Lemme check, but thanks. Even if you're not reporting someone, use it if you need to contact a GM, they'll respond.
Chances are the GM will not even contact you, they'll just send an automated response with a web link to the bug reporting group or whatever the name of that particular black hole department is.
the new avatar fights are they more magic attack or magic damage then just attack or PDT? i forget any thing i once had known about avatars seeing as i have not done one in about 4-5 years outside of the wolf.
Not sure if I dreamed this a long time ago but I thought I remember seeing that you could trade in 3 random empy feet for 1 of your choice (much like SoA capes). Is this in fact true and if so who do you trade them to? No one I have talked to in game knows this info :(

Adventurers may exchange three pairs of empyrean footwear with him for one of their choice. Hi.
Im doing 2 simutaneous trias (ws quest) as rng (dagger of trials and gun). Does the gun ws count toward the dagger trial also? Thanks in advance. Edit: no. Would lowering MDB on a target increase its skillchain damage taken?
Which expedition in Meebles is the best to farm for points? It'll be a duo.
Sylph.Safiyyah said: » Which expedition in Meebles is the best to farm for points? It'll be a duo. This one is fairly simple for mages: http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Researcher_Expedition_2_%28Sauromugue%29 Its to vanquish simutaneusly 2 mobs, one of each family (there are 2 families in this expedition). Basically, somoene goes to west/east and grab a couple of leeches and bring to the other side, and put those together with the same number of mobs from the other family. Make sure all leeches dies with the same cast. If you decides a duo of BLMs, maybe a 2-man meteor is enough to kill all necessary mobs in a single cast provided they are in aoe range. |
