Staffs like baqil, accessories like diamond ring have the "element: ice" in description.
That stat just affect the resistance to that kind of elemental attack or they have some influence in related magics?

higher level version of the AA fights uses merits, the update notes and ffxidb probably have better info than any wiki still, but the short of it is that it's 20 merits to attempt an AA fight and if you beat all 5 on normal mode or higher you can spend 30 merits to attempt DM

So... I turned in the Base GK for mythic and the 150k token item long ago, I kinda want to do BLU mythic instead....

You don't need king kills again, but your token is gone.

You can trade him a new weapon to restart the quest again.
I just got back to the game yesterday after a 5 month absence. I searched both wiki's on getting the Empyrean WS's from the 90 version but I could not find anything.

Whats the best staff for PLD that you can buy on AH?
Is there a way, such as thru spellcast, to equip certain pieces of gear when you have multiple copies in your inventory. Talking specifically about augmented gear. Thx.

not really, the game doesn't play well with multiple pieces of the same name, that even goes for things with the same name but different equipment slots like the cizin greaves thing.
If you mean something like Dark rings, spacing them out in your set helps, like <lring><lear><waist><rring><rear>, but no, there's no way to say "Switching to my mdt set, equip my best MDT Dark Rings".
Pretty sure gearswap can do it, but may be wrong.
It's possible to do by constructing your own equip packets instead of simply using the /equip command. You can choose which item gets equipped, the problematic part is getting the augment data out of the item's structure and representing it in a meaningful manner.
