Yes tunga can still petrify to 99s. best I have found is if you plan on spamming tunga, if you can cleave and do fools powder, thats the best. Otherwise go save like 3k bastion credits and after every tunga, go buy a fools from bastion dude. Only like 150 credits.

So some guy on my server is saying that ODD procs on ws for empies. Can someone either link me to a testing or something to prove him wrong and help me link him to the site lol. I just don't want another guy believing something as silly as that. He claims he has been testing without any multi attack gear sam/nin and says his ws randomly double when aftermath is present. I tried telling him it was pDIF capping but he doesn't believe me >.<
Not trying to prove him wrong to feel better than him, I just want him to understand that it doesn't work like that. He often asks for my sam advice and don't want him to believe this >.<

He was saying he tested it by doing no double attack atma in abyssea with cruor buffs sam/nin 90 masa. K what he doesn't realize is his attack isn't caped. With ***atma, he says his fudo average 3k and spike 7k randomly. Even I can't do that with amazing atma and attack caped with as much multi attack. Idk how to prove him wrong though lol >.<

Edit: Assuming capped attack, favorable level correction, exorbitant amounts of STR(280+) at 300TP, Fudo can do up to +/-7786 damage with a Quadruple Attack proc and the most favorable pDIF 1 and 2 rolls possible.

A Fudo with the same STR and no QA proc would be worth +/-4591 at 300TP and 2993 at 100TP.

On top of that, the thousands of other Empyrean holders out there who have an IQ high enough to sustain conversation are capable of seeing that ODD does not affect weaponskills.

What's the lowest level someone can be to get XP from bats/worms in Zeruhn w/ a 99 in the PT?

I've book burned people from 13 to 30, not sure about any lower than that.

i would like to know what everyone thinks that the best gear set for each class is,now it can be full family's of gear sets or it can be a set of gear that has parts from all different family's on the game but it is a set u use if u do not understand my question just let me know by quoting me or just replaying and put in the replay u do not understand so and sos post.

please list a set of gear for each job(class)
i cant wait to see seeing as some of the gear sets people make may help me as well.

i want to clear up something that a poster after me said,i want to make clear i am not asking u or anyone on this forum to make me a gear set i know how to make a good gear set all ready,i just want to see what everyone is using seeing as when i am on i see ner 80% of the same gear on all most every class,i just want to see what people here think is good gear and why.

What I read.

Does Addle have potency much akin to Slow or Paralyze? BGWiki has no information on this and Wikia mentions briefly that there is a potency value, but requires more testing. I'm currently stacking my dMND set for it but haven't done any serious testing on it. Thanks for any replies! ^_^

I start burning at level 8. Not sure if you can start lower than that or not.

EDIT: You can level to 8 off the mobs right outside of town, that's why I've never tried lower. So I'd suggest just get to 8 off those and go right to Zeruhn.

i would think that u can burn from level 1 if u really wanted it may not last long but i think u could.

Leveling rng, Refulgent vs Apex? Considering that I have no other ws to merit atm, I can't ask my friends to help for a Gandiva and that I have Last Stand of course, so it's more for the few occasions I'd be stuck with a bow.

At 6 or 7, some mobs won't give the one 1 you need for the credit. It also depends on how many people are in the group... at one point we had a 7 getting credit until we teamed up with some other people in the area. No issues at all at level 8 though (as Mcclane said), even in alliance.

Not really. Without Gandiva at least, don't know about with.

At a glance I'd say Refulgent, but that's without building sets for either. Note that Fencer and TP Bonus Moonshade will have a much more significant impact on Refulgent Arrow.
