Are you simply just wanting to skill up synergy? Simply put: you spam feed fewell. Pick synths that have earth elements, since earth explosion gives slow, but I have not observed them to do anything detrimental. Haste can prevent earth explosion slow from sticking as well.
8 singing herbal broth
20 federation earring
30 kazham earring OR rabao earring
40 empire earring OR silver nuggets
50 mythril nugget
60 gold nugget
70 platinum nugget
Trade ingredients to the furnace, then proceed to spam the living hell out of earth fewell. You simply feed until the furnace health expires. I personally ignore explosions and just feed regardless, but you can thwack if you want.
As long as you do not successfully finish the synth, you will retain the materials. The only gil sink are the fewells themselves; be ready to buy heaploads.

Fir Shikargar is absolutely superior for DD. Sanus Ensis is fine for support or solo when you don't need the EVA from a Wind Shikargar. There's no such thing as a full time offhand for BLU.

While trying to proc Grellow in abby, what are proc hints filtered under? I feel I somehow turned them off, as in the 2 months that I've returned, I've never gotten a hint.

As I'm hoping to be returning back ffxi soon, I've got a couple of questions I'd like help obtaining the answers to.
Is it possible for me to join a voidwatch shout for Kaggen even though I haven't managed to complete all the city clears?
If I'm able to take part would I still be able obtain the Atmacite & Periapt?

Yes and yes, but you won't get any credit for progression.

If I remember correctly Vision NMs only drop one +2 item with yellow and the other with TH...which is which on Briareus?
Voyage Stone only drops with yellow proc and the Jewel of voyage only drops with TH.

Random Question: Nomad Moogle next to Maat wont give me the CS for Limit Break 6. I have 3 stored Merit Points and 5 Kindred Seals. Just keeps asking if I have any questions about how the Merit Points system works. Tried talking to it and zoning, changing to other 75 jobs and still nothing. Make sure youre trading to the right moogle, and that its the right type of seal
Make sure you have 3 merit points
Finally double check your quest log to make sure you didnt start the quest and forget about it

I assume what he ment was holding tp/using crappy weaponskills to make skillchains is bad. If he ment randomly hitting skillchains when DDs are spamming their best weaponskills, well, its pchan...
