is barrage subject to 8hit cap, like autoattacks and ws? about to +1 af hands and make ASA legs barrage/r.atk, but just read vague unresolved talks on the OF.
not sure if id just be better off with phantom roll recast for my cor if landing all 10 hits is rare, or simply not possible Here you go.

what did you end up choosing for your augment? I believe the math that was post on OF was 56% chance of all 10 hitting, but you said you only saw up to 9 with +2 in gear.

I did Phantom Roll + PDT mainly because I almost never play RNG. And the max I saw was 7 shots without any Barrage gear, though my sample size was rather small.

They're still minorly better than Ares' Gauntlets as a high Acc TP/Haste hybrid piece and VIT-mod WS piece?

OK, I'm a drk who is starting to build an apocalypse. I have tachi:shoha, resolution, and ruinator merited for my sam, drk, and bst respectively. My most played jobs right now are Drk and Bst. My question is, is it worth it to get rid of Tachi:Shoha in favor of Entropy for a new Scythe WS to use with Apocalypse or is Catastrophy good enough on it at level 95?

I see. I think I'll go for barrage/r.atk and do some more testing, since I could always just redo it if it's not practical. Thanks again
and to above poster, since you have Ragnarok which you'll more likely be using in group settings, I think it'd probably be ok to not do Entropy since most of the situations you'd be using your Apoc in, Catastrophe would be more useful for it's utility over the small damage increase you'd see using Entropy. Not speaking from experience though so take with a grain of salt

Since your most played jobs are drk and bst, get rid of shoha atm and merit entropy 5/5 cause at 95 catastrophe won't make it up compared to this ws. And yeah blah blah resolution etc... You want to use your scythe to its full potency.
SE is planning on reduce the mods of merit ws to 85 % so we can get more merit ws you could level shoha again soon.

Are Tenshodo merchants affected by conquest tally? Cause I'm trying to buy some spells off this guy, but he doesn't have them. Guild merchants can stock items that are not automatically replenished. You won't ever find the expensive absorb scrolls, because that would require another player to sell them to that specific NPC first.

Maybe I misunderstood, I read Matsui's post right before I went to sleep. But from what I recall you'll be able to have your mod up to 65% with 1/5 merit and it will scale to 85% at 5/5.

for drk is it better to use af3+2 head with armada hauberk(5 stp 3 dbl attk) or phorcys head with valkyrie body(assuming good augments)? i just need 5 store tp for x-hit with either combination. already have ebody with those augs, is worth it to work on getting valk too?

They aren't reducing the mods on WSs at all actually. Simply adjusting their starting mod, and adjusting subsequent merits into each WS.

Real fast, wanted to ask.
The STP+7 that Tachi: Kaiten gives, IF aftermath isn't already active will the +7 STP be added into the TP return of Kaiten?
Or only after it is active?

I'm looking to be as efficient at farming Orthrus as possible, so I duobox THF and WHM for the kills. Currently my atmas are RR, AoA, and Brother Wolf, but my mule doesn't have relic +2 legs. The fight is somewhat comfortable with brother wolf, but it's taking a little too long for my taste. If I was able to finally farm the relic legs for my mule, would it be as safe to use SS in place of brother wolf and be able to kill faster? Basically, are WHM Relic Legs +2 good enough to replace Brother Wolf?

If your having mp issue then use 3x refresh atma. Definately use a dd atma like GH or SS over brother wolf.

Not MP issues really, I'm really just wondering if it's more efficient, IE is it more possible that GoH can kill me if I drop Brother Wolf even if I had Relic Legs +2 on my mule. At the same time, shorter fights leave less of a chance for a mistake and relic legs +2 will only help.
Side question I guess, is the effect on barspells noticable with relic legs +2 for WHM?
For those of you that visit Bg you already know the premise of this thread but for those that don't, it's simple.
