sweetness, i'll test that out!
Ah ok thanks man. I wasn't 100% sure on the differences between else and elseif.

Any ideas what that does or anything? lol Shiva.Arana said: » Try this Calipso. Any ideas what that does or anything? lol I just got one of these too, and after some digging found this: Quote: Players will now receive wizened worm items upon completion of expedition goals. There are three types of worms to receive: Wizened Tunnel Worms, Wizened Morion Worms, and Wizened Phantom Worms. Speak to the NPC Utrig in Sauromugue Champaign (J-7) to exchange these worms for random items. Palimpsest items have been added that bestow beneficial effects upon players. Trade a palimpsest to the Speleological Handbook in the burrows to receive its corresponding effect. Palimpsests may be obtained randomly by trading wizened worms to the NPC Utrig in Sauromugue Champaign. It looks like if you don't have enough worms he won't talk to you? I traded 10 wizened worms to him and got a "Safeguard Palimpsest". I wanted a piece of gear! :( Odin.Calipso said: » Phoenix.Icemn said: » Just did meebles and traded worms to that new NPC and got an "Obliteration palimpsest" description reads: "An arcane sheet of parchment inscribed with eldritch emblems that pulse with a magical glow." Wonder what kinda boost you get from something with the word Obliteration in it's name...sounds deadly lol. Traded 10 more tunnel worms twice over, got a hi-ether and then another page.
I did too, except I got prize powder and another page :< lol
Some of the possible options for me are 100 byne bill and a flame gem, pretty cool! (for the phantom worm rewards).
Someone in my party said they had Aura Scythe as a possible reward, but that wasn't on my rewards list. (Edit: Nvm, it's there, I just fail at reading). I did see a few random boss drops on the lists though. Another edit: Phantom worm gave me an O.Bronzepiece :( Yes there is an Aura scythe, with a latent effect for higher base damage or something, idr.
Just traded the paper things though and each one gives you 3 options to give to your PT: Obliteration gave the options Crit defense bonus, Crit rate bonus, or Crit damage bonus. Safeguard gave Occ. annuls magical damage, Occ. annuls physical damage, or Reduced damage. Intimidation gave 3 killer effects they were Beast, Vermin, and a third killer effect that my PT member doesn't remember. I know, double post >.<
but.. Any ideas where to get the gear that's not from Neo Salvage? Like the new neck pieces and belts and such. For example: Elanid Belt STR+5 AGI+7 Ranged Accuracy+7 Ranged Attack+7 Enmity-3 THF / RNG / COR Pretty much feels like goblin box :(
Probably meebles since it was the only other expanded content, no?
I didn't hear about any expansions to meebles other than the worms thing and I looked through all the possible rewards from trading the worms, didn't see any of it.
There were no new bosses added to meebles, and unless all the possible rewards aren't listed, it's not from the random worm thing either.

Well it doesn't look like it's gonna come from salvage ya? I was just tossin a guess out there. I think that that is more likely the case. Maybe possible drops from the next tier of Meebles that got delayed by a month?
Btw using a Prize Powder turns you into a moveable pyxis. It's fun! Do you need old Lv75 pieces to upgrade any of the neo-salvage gear?

Just finished augmenting my Warrior's Cuisses +2.
Would anyone happen to know whether or not they're a worn upon activation piece? Sorry to use this thread but I've scanned a few PLD CDC threads/posts and cant see any mention (or very few mentions at least, not even in Neosutra's awesome thread) of the Avant Gauntlets.
They are what I use at the moment but wonder if worth consolidating a gear slot and going with the Creed Gauntlets +2, going Avant Gauntlets +1 or digging out my old (NQ) Hecas from the moogle. Also in the mind set of inventory consolidation, buy myself a Zahak's Mail 'till the Twilight decides to drop for me (Calma body is a little out of my price range at the moment as saving for relic), or stick with the +2 Creed body. Thoughts? Thanks! DeathOfSiren said: » Just finished augmenting my Warrior's Cuisses +2. Would anyone happen to know whether or not they're a worn upon activation piece? Crap, sorry - I don't know. Thought it was the "enhances 2 hour" piece. Asura.Yojimmbo said: » Does The Sanctuary of Zitah and The Boyada Tree areas share weather effects? Any stat's found for the new gear? I notice the updated items panel on the left-hand side of the page is still for the last update that added in Meeble Burrows. |
