Hey everyone!

You may have noticed this week I released Guildwork XMPP which allowed you to use Guildwork Chat on your desktop or phone IM client.

Today I have a treat for all FINAL FANTASY XI players who are subscribed to Guildwork Premium.





After you setup XMPP you just have to enable remote chat in the staging settings.

After that you will receive tells on your IM client. If you want to send a tell to someone you can do so using this format.

<character>@ffxi.<server>.<your character> e.g. krispy@ffxi.cerberus.stanislav

Just tested it from my iPhone and from computer's Jabber client, works pretty well! Now I can afk while people preparing for an event and just get a notification via /tell when everything is ready, right to the phone, instead of having to monitor a web page :D.

I think us having something like this is really amazing. Thanks a lot for the hard work, Stan! :D

No sorry, Guildwork does not generate enough money from advertising so this is the way to pay for costs.

$3.33/m is fairly cheap and comes with many other features.

Dunno if it will be added to the XMPP, but it definitely works on the site on the remote chat page =) just not as comfortable.
