The absolute best thing you can do for RNG is to get that bow. It's so worth it. Only took me 9 days of (Constant) camping to get and I would do it again if I had to.
... in those 9 days couldnt you have farmed enough to buy it a couple of times over?
In those 9 days, I could have gone out, farmed almost 20 stacks of Mistletoe, get interrupted by maintenance, then find that they lowered the NPC price of Remedies and that Mistletoe has dropped to 10k a stack. True story, btw.
If you get the rare/ex version, you don't have to worry about lack of gil down the line from a random 3M purchase that you could have gotten for free.
... In the end its just as free as the paid version except if you ever change your mind your not stuck with it. Only 20 stacks of mistetoe in 9 days...? If its that bad I suggest farming something else. even just being there for the 16 hour spawn period for 9 days could be up a rather rediculous amount of time. Even at 50k an hour you could get Eurytos in only 70 hours of farming...
