SE needs to do something about this (I'm sure they are. I'm just stating the obvious) Yeah, with the free trial comes all that garbage. I get them pretty much daily anymore...multiple times most days. Sometimes within like 2 minutes of my logging in. Anywho, I'm sure S-E will do something to combat that with the new game. Wouldn't be hysterical if they eliminated player to player transactions completely, and every transaction was PC-NPC? No more gilselling, cause gil is now EX. All gear is either vendor bought, or drops from mobs as R/EX. BYE BYE RMT LOLZ

Who thinks that FF14 should have a limited AH
like you can onry sell meds/some random tools/and certain gear
while everything else is either a Quest reward or npc (or boss drop)
Then Free trials can be limited (can onry send tells to Flist and cannot use AH)
It would screw RMT's pretty hard that way :O
Also nubs would actually be able to buy gear >.> not 30,000gil for 1 piece of gear xD

Reduce crafting down to just making consumables, and the only reason to do a given craft is to make your own personal use stuff. All gear comes from NPCs, or drops from mobs. All gear is bound to you and can only be sold to an NPC for gil. You can improve gear through NPCs, buy mats through NPCs, and sell drops TO NPCs for gil, but that's it. Completely eliminate the AH entirely, and the ability to trade gil from one player to the next. Now EVERYONE has to work for their ***, no one can buy gil, no one can sell gil... Seems like it may work, although I'm sure people would be pissed they can't be ballers with their billions of gil like in FFXI.

I dare you to find some decent earrings or rings from npc ._. also its very unfriendly to new players when they have to dish out 30k a piece when they are having a hard time to paying a choco ride xD
