If your doing it for the nuking go and you dont mind soloing up some insane xp go blm. If you want to play support *** most the time until you can finnally solo real good play sch.

A culvern setup is only good when you got outside mobs to TP on with axe/dagger/whatever. You're kinda screwed over if you use vulcan staff unless the mobs are uber weak.
Lvl SCH. It's such a versatile job and would be just something great to have. Comparable healing powers to a RDM, comparable damage to a BLM and you can buff your pt so be a great support job.

Not just for tp some good dmg. Beside you know how slow that thing shoots? Its almost as rediculous as its dmg. Besides I kinda wanna do it just to show up all these rngs complaining about demon arrows or cors that still use bronze bullets cause "steel/iron is too expensive"

Cannon shells only stack to 12 and are pretty expensive to make. There's a reason it's illogical to shoot them for TP. Save em for slug shot and melee for your TP if possible. If you can't then don't bother using it to begin with unless you got nothing else to burn your gil on.
I think the only exception would be for a well placed unlimited shot slug shot with a heavy shell from KV.

hmmm about 5k per synth with 6 being NQ... but part of that is cause some of the ingredients are insanely priced... 1.5k brass ingot when you can get rediculously easy from worm or pay 800 for it from ah... and 3 copper ore which cmon shouldnt cost you more then 20 gil each
still very expensive.
