Or do you need to know what cards work well with each other and what not. you can't really just do that i mean the cards have to work together decently you'd essentially throw the best cards of a certain type together IE burn deck, zombie deck, a combo deck of sorts, cycling deck (*** cycling decks), or storm deck i have no idea what the "best cards" are anymore but i totaly just checked the prices of my brother cards i should rob him tbh i could buy a new car
Fairy.Spence said: » How much strategy is involved with MTG? Couldn't you money at it and build a really strong deck? It depends on how you want to play, there's a method where you could just throw money to buy a certain cards to make a nearly unbeatable deck. A lot of which are banned from tournament play. On the flip side, there are ways to set up a combo deck that involves strategy. Again, it depends on how you want to play. Well the "best cards" are the old cards that they made that were honestly just *** stupidly broken from back in the day
i mean they have a lot of good cards but some are only good for certain decks Odin.Graywind said: » Fairy.Spence said: » How much strategy is involved with MTG? I just spent 30 bucks making a deck that revolves around flipping coins Carbuncle.Lolserj said: » Fairy.Spence said: » Buy all the best cards and build a super deck. Or do you need to know what cards work well with each other and what not. if you had enough money i guess it's possible to buy all the cards you wanted. you'd either have to go aftermarket and buy from people selling them second hand (which might not get you the best cards in current expansion, as people might want to hold onto them) or drop a load and hope you get lucky on random cards. you still need to know what cards work well together though, you need to know the proper deck size for your deck, the proper ratios of lands to spells, lands to lands, the proper colors, etc and on and on. Lolserj loves it. Right? =D dragon deck go
I stopped acquiring cards right after the darksteel set was made the idea behind those cards just made me angry for some reason. My friends and I are looking to do a draft tournament with the newest series, the one with vampires, humans and werewolves (can't remember the name of the set) and I'm looking to make a good werewolf deck.

Innistrad? I honestly think black/blue zombie is the strongest deck type in this set Bismarck.Misao said: » dragon deck go [-] Carbuncle.Lolserj said: Innistrad? If I win that would be cool, if not oh well I have a new werewolf deck. Pandemonium.Anookulchandra

Card 3 (another dragon with a nice crowd control ability again) Card 4 (It's kind of a meh card... but has it's uses if you can attack it to a first strike creature with an ability that literally makes them block that creature) Card 5 (Nice for quick hit burn decks with the low obligatory cost and devastating when in late game too) Card 6

Card 7

Just to name a few, there's others out there. A few of them that I could have named are very similar to other cards with a slight difference. You will need a way to get mana out your hand fast which is rare for Red deck to come across those cards. I did have a card... I remember selling it or trading it for something though, which let you pick a colorless or color of your choice mana for each life you lose. *Was an enchantment that was Rare I got back in like... ooh god.. I feel old.. 2002?* can't even remember the pack set it was released with.. Pandemonium.Anookulchandra
