I'm wondering about Coru vs. Fire Thok as well. I wish we knew about the severe dmg.
There is a GS with severe dmg during WS or SC. Do we know if that works? Could explain what Coru severe does.

Severe damage was quadruple damage and had a decent proc-rate (around 10% apparently). SUPPOSEDLY it at some point worked on the test server. But I've seen no evidence of this.

Hmmm things getting weirder again...
We previously started getting anomally where inital WS fTP affects all hit like Jishnu's now we see it more and more.
We established in the old days where weapon critical hit rate +% only affects strictly the crit hit rate coming from that weapon, then we got Coruscanti.
I'm really interested in this dagger now.

Who knows, like I said, I never saw the testing. I'm just telling you what I've heard. I'd assume it would be on a per-hit basis.
Huh, I wonder if the Lux Pugio also affects off hand then. I think I can test it on THF.

GH RR DD, EMP +2 pants. Should be 99% crit rate before dagger. 425 swings (so ~210 with offhand) still no non-crit. Only a 12% chance of that happening if it doesn't affect off hand.
If someone can easily swing a 96% crit rate before dagger they could do a more powerful test.
(Not sure I can get my crit rate sans dagger between 96 and 99 on DNC)

What are your thoughts on the Oce Head+1? It seems to be an amazing piece for Evis, Rudra, and Exe. I don't THINK I've seen a better head piece yet. Worth the 9m or is there anything better? Thanks :D
It's rarely worth it to use Rudra without Climactic, so O+1 won't see any use there.
Agi, str, and attack all matter for Exenterator, and you're usually required to make sacrifices toward one direction. For any target with measureable defense, I think Cuauhtli Headpiece +1 is a better choice, versus EP mobs, fodder trash, or in cases where your attack is extremely buffed (bersserk, building flourish etc) O+1 will probably pull way out in front.
Worth the 9m? Probably never. Ideal in some situations? Yeah, but NQ will function just fine.

***, I sound like an idiot. Sorry, I meant Rudra's unstacked. I know I know, but I do use unstacked Rudra's sometimes, usually when I'm doing something boring like spamming trash mobs and I end up with 300 TP. 90 seconds of ODD is nice. But even bored I'll still switch to my WS set so that's why I ask about Rudra's.

At this point, on trash mobs, I'm probably going to start main-handing Coruscanti, so I'll have even fewer reasons to ever use an unstacked Rudra's. ^^
Rudra's is still amazing for VW though! As soon as my friend finishes his Mjöllnir I'll actually be able to farm for HMPs, so hopefully in a few months I'll have my 95 Twashtar :)

Same for the last bit. I'll only shoot it unstacked at 300 if CF is down or the mob is 30% HP or so. The paranoid part of me hates wasting CF on trash because I always think "what is a NM pops right now? I'll want to CF it!" One of those "kill any NM that you see up if it's not a trial mob" kinda things.
Generally I'm not bored on DNC though, so most of this goes out the window.

Got a Potestas Bomblet to go with my Rancor Mantle. Took me many many fewer kills than the mantle. Mantle took me about 3500 kills. Potestas took me ~1000 or less.
For the love of god, just buy it off AH if someone is dumb enough to sell it.

As an FYI, Evisceration generally (and largely) outperforms Exenterator in Voidwatch if you have Champion's Drink on.

I love all the data so far im a Career Dnc just getting back into the game so i missed out on ALOT from back when i was 75, im re-doing all my gear builds based on advise so far given.
Tp is locked.
WS build is in the works once I deiced which WS i wanna stick with so far im getting Evisceration in Aby, Ruda's outside? I really would rather use PK but i guess it fell behind since times of 75 plus my DE always does more it seems.
Long story short, im curious if your ganna do a section on Evasion/tanking sets.

The ability to keep up 300TP aftermath, and pump out 3k+ weaponskills when Climactic is up really makes you worth bringing. Without that, you're severely neutered.

here's one i just threw together
each thokcha gives 20~ evasion so you get
37 +20 +20 ~ 77 eva plus some agi
25% haste (1% off)
and 27 subtle blow
you can make some swaps around in there, not really sure what to use for a back piece. In abyssea this will probably be overkill and you can swap the weapons out for something else. Outside abyssea it depends on what your doing.
