We were discussing them in the context of Pyrrhic Kleos, so uh Athos set bonus is useless!

Doubt it. None of the "newer" jobs seem to be getting updates to merits... even the ones that need them. I'm hoping they just forgot to make threads/updates about it, but over the years I've learned to stem emotions such as hope into more reasonable emotions like rage.

Naw, I think they were just releasing them a little at a time and forgot to do the rest or something. This page has the same ordering as the merit menu. They released updates for all the recast ones down to Ranger, but nothing below that.

I could see them stiffing COR, DNC, PUP, etc. but there's no way they leave SAM and NIN out in the cold. Especially since one of their initial examples of a tier 2 merit adjustment was for NIN.

Which means we have to wait a month or two, possibly more, for relatively easy "fixes" that should have been put in with the rest of them. :c SE sucks.

Oh wellllllll...

Kinda lame that they're splitting it over two updates, but so it goes.

Inb4 it is just gonna be an accuracy boost as well.

Personally, I think TA or Crit rate would be kinda cool, and fitting.

Kinda made me laugh in the Resolved Issues

An issue wherein the animation of the weapon skill Exenterator was overly long and would prevent the following standard attack animation from displaying properly.

An issue wherein the duration of the weapon skill Exenterator's additional effect would not vary with TP.

Guess someone saw that bug thread =p

I thought it was just spellcast that was causing this! LOL.

Basically after using Exenterator, the next attack round would go off without you actually doing anything visually.

Was a bit disorienting ... but I didn't think it was something worth reporting because I thought it might just be spellcast/blinking, lol.

That actually happens for me with a lot of WSs, not just Exenterator. I agree that the animation was too *** long, though.

I finally fixed my .dats on Saturday, so I did two Salvage runs with it looking normal (for the first time since the update).

So it looks like the sets suspected to be "Abjuration" gear are only augmentable if they're HQ?

So uh..

HQ Cursed gear...which I'm guessing will be T0 100+ crafts...further have to be augmented randomly with synergy?

You're probably wrong (I hope) because the NQs are worthless. Either that or it's going to be easy to crank out synths.

Skip to 7:16 and you'll see it

(made the video for a friend of mine who quit back @ the 75 days and was curious about coming back for dancer)

New synergy recipes have been added as follows.
The following pieces of HQ equipment are augmentable via synergy with the "Abdhaljs’s Honor" item:

<Adept>
Huginn Coronet / Huginn Gauntlets / Huginn Hose / Huginn Gambieras / Tenryu Somen +1 / Tenryu Tekko +1 / Tenryu Hakama +1 / Tenryu Sune-ate +1 / Khepri Bonnet / Khepri Wristbands / Khepri Kecks / Khepri Gamashes / Spurrina Coif / Spurrina Gages / Spurrina Slops / Spurrina Nails / Iaso Mitra / Iaso Cuffs / Iaso Tights / Iaso Boots
<Veteran>
Huginn Haubert / Tenryu Domaru +1 / Khepri Jacket / Spurrina Doublet / Iaso Briault

This looks fishy, doesn't it? I guess it means the HQs will be easy to make.

..either that or only the HQ version of Tenryu set is augmentable.

@Dawnn

With normal TP gear/Haste/Haste Samba/just March II, you are already at haste cap, so double march/SV did nothing extra for you unless you removed all your DW gear and blinkmenot didn't show it. Even then, without SV, you are at the cap.

I knew it didn't but dusk's skill is so incredibly low, also I can't control what dusk does when he plays =p

We actually have a capped hi-haste march set a few pages back in this thread

Hey guys, quick Exenterator set question. I been using this downtime to go over some Spellcasts and saw that I was using Suppanomimi in my Exenterator set. Quickly changed it to Aesir Ear Pendant - and then thought about it for a second. I remember reading several pages back that +3 ATT roughly (or precisely?) equates 1 AGI for Exenterator. Is the Aesir Ear Pendant's +7 ATT and +3 Conserve TP worth losing 1 inventory space compared to using Suppanomimi for its 2 AGI?

And in an attempt to understand more about the game's base mechanics: Would 1 AGI = 1 base dmg always be true for Exenterator or only if it's 5/5 and thus 100% AGI modified. Of course, you wouldn't use Exenterator at just 4/5, but trying to figure out if say Rudra's Storm 60% dex mod means that every 1 DEX = .6 base dmg.

I browse BG occassionally to try and get a better grasp on stuff like modifiers, but I often give up quickly when I see too much math-looking stuff.

Aesir beats drone (+3), but not a +4 AGI earring.

We're talking points of damage over the average, though.

60% is before alhpa. O.6 * 0.85 = 0.51, so roughly 2 DEX ~ 1 base damage.
